Christmas Countdown - 2016

Day off came and went too quickly, I spent 3 hours at the car dealership. Our lease is up soon so it is time to start looking for a replacement or decide to buy it outright. We saw one we really like, but it will probably be out of the price range we want to stay in. I hate car shopping.

We were supposed to be getting snow tonight, but it looks like it will be missing us. It is quite cold outside tonight, standing at 28*f right now.

Today's figures:
Days to Halloween: 4 (Just over HALF A WEEK left!)
Days to the Season: 17 (Now UNDER 2 1/2 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 59 (UNDER 8 1/2 weeks to go!)
(Yep. Those numbers just keep getting smaller and smaller.)


One last coolish day yesterday. Now we are in for a warm stretch, possibly getting past 80 at some point later this week or next.
(My goodness. Good and bad weather comes and goes so quickly around here!)
Currently, we see sunny skies, calm winds and a temperature reading of 51 degrees here in the middle of NC.


Have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks, knowing that it will be Weekend Eve once again tomorrow!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Closing in on the Halloween Weekend! A chilly, cloudy even snow flurry day! A little too early for me in late October! It feels more like Thanksgiving or Christmas. But we still haven't reached Halloween yet. I have a Statistics Midterm after work so a busy day ahead. Better get started.

Greetings again. You do the same to mine. Back home, work is done for the day with one more to go in this cycle. 50 degrees and overcast here.

Morning Crown. The days keep on rolling by and I can't wait to get things ready at the zoo on Friday. The weather here looks good for all three days (currently 50).

Morning Martine. The one nice thing about my current job is no stress. Just take it off the pallet, put it on the shelf, store the rest and empty the trash. When 7AM comes along... time to go.
I think I had enough of the supervisory role with 23+ years in the military.
Enjoy your last work day and the three day break...

They will get plenty of cold foods again today: yogurt, applesauce, pudding and of course ice cream LOL. One of our local radio stations has a link to their christmas music preview on their website so I am sitting here listening to that this morning while enjoying my coffee. I am going to try to get some baking in this afternoon.

Howdy Minta. A chilly, overcast day is a nice one to stay home anyway. I pray the children recover quickly (though they may not let on as long as there is still ice cream). Enjoy the Java, I tossed in a stick of cinnamon with my grounds this AM. Nice and smooth.

I'm on my 12th year in management. I still love it but yeah, it's nice when there's nothing to worry about. I'll be on vacation for two weeks starting November 5th, that's when I'll truly have nothing to think about regarding work. Hope you'll have a nice day CGYager.
