It's rainy here today. I am subbing in the afternoon so Carolina will go to my cousins house. It's supposed to rain all day so we won't get to be outside playinh so it's sounding like Carolina will have a hard time going to he'd tonight since we can't go outside

I love this...that is so great!Buble's Christmas CD is the only one I'll listen to before Thanksgiving. That tradition started when I was pregnant with my son. During the Christmas season, I was 5 months pregnant, and I really wanted my son to hear Christmas songs through my belly. I played a lot of Buble that year, and when Christmas was over, I didn't want to stop all Christmas music because I wanted my son to be born knowing and loving it! So I continued the Buble CD. After he was born, that CD was the only music that always calmed him when he was crying. So it turned into a year-round treat whenever we are in need of comfort or being festive.

We had supper at Mrs. Hilda's last night. Homemade soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Mmm, mmm, mmm! It's just too bad that it's still 80° outside. That would be really good in 30° weather!
Jacob's band has a gig tonight. I'm not sure if we're going or not, though. Well, I probably will, but Nancy might not. Thursday nights are tough at our age LOL!

I'm feeling Christmassy today! I switched the Christmas CD in the vehicle from Sheryl Crow to Neil Diamond. Need to get all these "not favorites" listened too before the season starts, AND I just activated the SiriusXM in the Durango since Channel 4 will change to "Holly" on Tuesday!

I'm not sure what we will do yet - besides mix all the chili ingredients together for Saturdays soup! We'll be at the lake, so a lot depends on weather! Jim and our friends at the lake have the day off to, so I'm sure we'll get into something. Ha ha!
