Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! Hope everyone is ready for Halloween weekend cause I am. At least no snow flurries this morning and Saturday it's supposed to be 60 and partly sunny on Saturday so that sounds good to me. Last one to the weekend is a rotten egg...

That would make us a rotten egg here in the US...Festive, Prancer, JollyHeather, TrackRebel, Solice (and other of our friends in Europe/Austrualia area) will all be getting to the weekend before us

Good Friday morning! A 3-day weekend for me. But work is never done. Here is what I just made for a bake sale at work today. My first time working with candy melts, I did ok I think. Time to drop these off and then run around for some errands. I've been fighting off a headache since yesterday afternoon, I need to get some Tylenol becausecit's not going away on its own. I can't get excited about the 25 days of Christmas on Freeform because I don't have cable, but I own almost every Christmas movie that exists on dvd, so I can create my own!

Man, I have great memories of watching ABC Family during Christmas time. My mom was always the giddy one who turned it on at 3pm to plop down with us and watch the Christmas cartoons.

What magical memories, I'm sure you cherish them dearly!

Friday already wow, quick week.
Today starts our dollar days sale so it is going to be insanely busy, which is ok because the day will go by very fast.
Sister is in the area for a conference so family will be meeting together for a BBQ on Sunday. This weekend is supposed to warm up nicely so it should be a good day for it.

And there are indeed precious few days left between now and the first of our string of four Happy Holidays!

Today's data release:
Days to Halloween: 3 (Now UNDER HALF A WEEK!)
Days to the Season: 16 (Two weeks from the day after tomorrow!)
Days to Christmas Day: 58 (Eight weeks from the day after tomorrow!)
(Precious few indeed!)



Comfortable temperatures yesterday with no rain until a brief mid-evening shower after everyone was cozy inside.
Today should be another nice one with no predicted rain.
We stand just over 61 degrees at this hour here in the capital city.

Greetings Festive. So how do the long range weather plans look for Monday? With the family all around a nice day of relaxing at home w/some movies sounds quite nice actually.
Going to hit the sack fairly soon. Just got off and I need to be at the Zoo by 2PM (six hours from now). It will only last the first day until 7:30, so not all that long.

Merry Friday MMC...just working today and I feel like I may need another cup of coffee. Not too many plans for the weekend. Tonight my youngest and I are going over to her friend's house for pizza. The Mom just bought a new home and got a new puppy...she is 1/2 shihtzu and Brussels griffon. She is a cutie.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

Jacob's band played last night at a bar & grill near the university, and they did great! It was more of a party scene than any of their gigs to-date, but that just meant that the crowd was REALLY into the music by the time they finished LOL. We stayed till they finished, and Nancy & I got home at midnight. *yawn* We felt really old among all those students who were easily young enough to be our kids.

Anyway, when they announced their last song, the crowd started calling "one more song!", so they played a couple more. I told them next time they're playing for a drunk crowd who wants more, pass around the tip jar. That's what we used to do. Drunk folks are always richer!
