It says, "Followed by You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown." I don't think I've ever seen that one.
Mickey's Christmas Carol was the favorite at my house growing up, along with the stop-motion classics like Rudolph and Little Drummer Boy.How incredibly cool is that? Any particular Christmas show that starts those memories churning? So me it will always be Merry Christmas Charlie Brown and the Bing Crosby Christmas Specials.

Those look great! I want one!Good Friday morning! A 3-day weekend for me. But work is never done. Here is what I just made for a bake sale at work today. My first time working with candy melts, I did ok I think. Time to drop these off and then run around for some errands. I've been fighting off a headache since yesterday afternoon, I need to get some Tylenol becausecit's not going away on its own. Have a great day everyone!

Have fun tonight! The puppy sounds adorable![]()
Yes, I told my daughter we had to be home in time to watch this...lol
Sounds like a fun weekend! Glad your kids are getting back on track...health wise!Happy Friday!!! Kids went back to school today. My daughter still wasn't 100% but was close enough besides the high school homecoming football game is tonight and she wants to go. No school no football game. The high school has their pep rally this afternoon so she wont have as many classes today. She is not going to the homecoming dance so instead we are having a bonfire outside tomorrow night and the kids have invited several of their friends. The weather will be perfect, now just to make a bunch of snack foods
Have a great day!!
Thanks Edge.......once again!I can take care of the 1 day Sunday.
I'm glad I did. The 1960's and 1970's were truly the golden age of Christmas specials. We eagerly awaited each and every one - Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Bob Hope, Anne Murray, the various orchestral concerts, etc. It was SO sad when they began to disappear one by one. Now there is nothing left like that and we are the worse for it......I wish I had been alive during all the Christmas specials with Bing Crosby and others. I just discovered the Best of Andy Williams' Christmas dvd last year and fell in love with it. It's just so innocent and genuine... He and his brothers singing together in bright Christmas sweaters is just not something you see so much these days, unless it's a skit on SNL, you know? It warms my heart and makes me wish I lived back then.
Happy Weekend Prancer!Good Afternoon/Evening christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Soo glad the weekend is finally here...Still not feeling to good today but still managed to go to work...Its Halloween weekend ahead so hope everyone has a spooktacular time...Relaxing on the sofa watching tv...Enjoy your evening ahead christmas friends![]()
I wonder why they stopped... What changed?I'm glad I did. The 1960's and 1970's were truly the golden age of Christmas specials. At least, we have YouTube to keep us warm and bring back the memories!
