Christmas Countdown - 2016

How are you guys? How was Thanksgiving? I hope you all had a special day.

Things have been so hectic of late as I am sure it has been for you all too. Thankfully I have made some progress with Christmas shopping as well as Mr Festive's birthday next week.

We put our tree up on Friday!!!!!! I decorated the house but still have a few things to put up. It is so exciting!

Good Morning, Folks.

Moving in rapidly toward the end of November and the beginning of Christmas Month!

The numbers:
Days to Christmas Day: 26 (Moving in on 3 1/2 weeks, now!)
That elusive Day is rapidly getting closer!


Still rather coolish here yesterday but today and tomorrow should see our highs in the low to mid 70's. The only possible spoiler is rain, with possible thunder, both days.
Currently, we are at a surprisingly warm 64 degrees, we have already had some stiff wind, and I don't particularly like the look of that sky outside!


But regardless of your weather, you have a Terrific Tuesday today, OK?

Good morning MMC!! Merry WARM Tuesday!! After a really yucky, rainy, windy day yesterday today we have a high of 57, and so far, sunshine!

I got my tree up & lights on last night! I still have a ways to go, but I'm a step closer!!

I hope everyone's day is off to a good start!!

@Holiday this is my bracelet I was talking about. I am waiting for a few more pieces to complete my holiday look.
Because I am working today the kind key is reminding me to be kind to all our customers and it's putting me in a Christmassy mood.

Merry Tuesday...sorry I have been MIA for a couple of days. I was off yesterday and caught up on stuff around the house. Back to work today and 2 days of rain for us but oh well. We did get our tree up and decorated the living room. Leo already stole an ornament. If I am not paying attention to him or throwing his ball fast enough he grabs an ornament and runs!! LOL.. Hope you all have a blessed day!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

Watching with sadness the fires in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, TN. These are two of my favorite places to visit. I'm praying that no one gets hurts, and the damage isn't too severe, although many houses have burned and at least one large hotel so far.

I hope @mgramsey and @whitney37354 are safe!

Thank you! We had a very nice Thanksgiving weekend
A lot of driving but we were blessed with good travel weather.

Harlowe is doing pretty good, but has been coughing again unfortunately. I'm awaiting a call back from her cardiologist when she's back in the office towards the end of the week. We may put her back on furosemide, we will see what she thinks. As of right now, her resting respiratory rate hasn't changed, and is still at a good level. That is a good sign.

Popping in before heading out to work in just over an hour. I really don't want to go.
A rainy day here, we need it, but I really would like some snow to take away the dreary outside browns and grays.
I should probably figure out what to eat for lunch before work, I won't be taking a break until 5-6pm with all my counting to do.

Great to see you @snowflake22, we have missed you around here.

Things are still very busy at work-we may have one prospect. Fingers crossed.
We had a nice time with our families while we were away for the holiday. Ate way too much, but that's part of the fun, right?! Three Thanksgivings this year.
And we made it a point to hit the unveiling of my hometown's Rotary Lights. They were gorgeous, and get even more magical every year! Adrian, Mom, Dad, Jazzie, Harlowe, and I all went and had fun walking through the park. There was a live nativity, carriage rides, Santa, carolers, and an ice skating rink all set to open once it's cold enough.
'Tis the season for Christmassy fun!

Thanks - I think they are cool little light houses! I love lanterns (lights) that are on a timer & turn on every night - especially now when it's dark so early.

Gracie is doing pretty well. I think she doesn't feel quite herself, being on so much antibiotic along with all the other meds. She's not eating as much as normal & some nights she isn't as ornery as normal. So I guess it's either so many meds, or maybe she's actually maturing!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! She'll get your hug at lunch!
