Christmas Countdown - 2016

I noticed today on a drive that many of my regular Christmas display houses are not even decorated this year. Several that can be mistaken for a small city lit up have absolutely nothing in their yards this year. These are all people that are set to go by mid November..very odd

Putting the tree up a week late this year.. for some reason the second Christmas without my mom seems harder than the first Thanksgiving was as well ..

Interesting. It is the opposite in my neighborhood. An unusually large number of people have decorated early this year.

2,5 hour drive over the Mountain.
Love it there!
I'm so exhausted though, have to go to bed soon...
But the time is only 6:40PM so I guess I have to wait a bit longer

Lots of work for me this week so every free moment will hopefully be devoted to finishing Christmas things. I just have to get my dad's gift, finish the craft Carolina is giving out to family and get stocking suffers for Mike and Carolina. I wish I could stop time over night to get it all done. An extremely busy day at work today, we could not keep up with customer traffic. My Bengals finally won today, probably a little late to get back into the playoff race, but maybe build confidence for next year.
Work tomorrow, hoping it's quick.

Finally got some sleep...
All the snow we got the last couple of days are melted.
It will snow again today, but also rain later...
Have some errands in the city today, and a lunchdate with Thomas so I better keep going.

TGIF! What's better than a weekend in December Christmas style? Not much. Looking forward to it. It's going to turn colder later next week here. The weatherman said "Could that set us up for some snow the 2nd half of December?" Every Christmas lovers dream question. At least we have a shot this year and hopefully it won't be 70 degrees on Christmas Eve! Anyway, have a great day and get ready for a big December weekend!
