Christmas Countdown - 2016

Hope that everyone had a Christmassy weekend!

Adrian and I went out for Mexican Friday night, and ran into some friends. We had fun catching up with them, and unwinding after a long week.

My FIL is going through some medical problems, again-Adi got an unnerving voicemail from him on Thursday , so he rushed down to check on him as he wasn't answering the phone, and spent the day there. He was okay, but is struggling. He has surgery in a few weeks.

My Christmas party went well last week, we had so much fun! And the food turned out great!

I spent a lot of time this weekend working on Christmas cards for the card exchange, and started some for family too.

We got a few inches of snow yesterday, it's was so beautiful to watch it fall. I needed a dose of Christmas magic!

Good morning, Snowflake! I'm sorry to hear that Adi's dad isn't feeling well. That sounds like a scary message, especially since he didn't answer return calls! I hope his surgery can help him.

The picture is beautiful! The only thing falling out of the sky around here is pecan leaves...right into my pool!! LOL

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It's finally raining a little bit! It's been so dry around here, we were beginning to worry. The last rain we had was when the hurricane came through.

Jacob's University Singers group sang a cantata last night, and it was spectacular! When it was over, the conductor for the University Chorale told Jacob's conductor that the Singers were as good as the Chorale...and the Chorale just returned from winning an international competition in Budapest! Jacob was so proud when he heard that!

I have to meet with my cardiologist today for a checkup, and our company party is Thursday. Busy, busy, busy!

I really don't like when I'm awake in the middle of the night & can't get back to sleep, but a Christmas movie & tree lights sure did help! :)

Agree...though our grass is still green. Looked a little funny yesterday seeing the green, green grass & snow on the rooftops! ;)
