Merry Monday!
Hope that everyone had a Christmassy weekend!
Adrian and I went out for Mexican Friday night, and ran into some friends. We had fun catching up with them, and unwinding after a long week.
My FIL is going through some medical problems, again-Adi got an unnerving voicemail from him on Thursday , so he rushed down to check on him as he wasn't answering the phone, and spent the day there. He was okay, but is struggling. He has surgery in a few weeks.
My Christmas party went well last week, we had so much fun! And the food turned out great!
I spent a lot of time this weekend working on Christmas cards for the card exchange, and started some for family too.
We got a few inches of snow yesterday, it's was so beautiful to watch it fall. I needed a dose of Christmas magic!

I will keep Adi's dad in my prayers. It is so stressful when you have a parent that is ill.

It's finally raining a little bit! It's been so dry around here, we were beginning to worry. The last rain we had was when the hurricane came through.
Jacob's University Singers group sang a cantata last night, and it was spectacular! When it was over, the conductor for the University Chorale told Jacob's conductor that the Singers were as good as the Chorale...and the Chorale just returned from winning an international competition in Budapest! Jacob was so proud when he heard that!
I have to meet with my cardiologist today for a checkup, and our company party is Thursday. Busy, busy, busy!

Just popping in quick to say hello. I've been so busy, there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to accomplish everything that needs to be done. I have so much to do. I looked at my Christmas countdown ornament this morning when I woke up, I can't believe how close we're getting. I'm not panicking though. Not yet anyway! My husband and I never got to set up my Christmas village this weekend. I'm going to start it in a little bit, in between chores. Hopefully I'll make some progress. I hope everyone's having a nice Monday so far and has a great week ahead. I'll pop back in when I can!

So I was up from 2:30-5:30 am...watched Grandpa For Christmas, & the start of The Night Before The Night Before Christmas - and then when my alarm went off this morning, I could have slept all day! Go figure! It's so dark & dreary outside - sure wish it would snow some more. Sure looks like it could! xx
So the plan for Mom is that she will go "swing bed" today or tomorrow. Which means she will stay in the same room at the hospital, but only receive therapy - no nursing care. It's a way to get her extra therapy without being admitted to the nursing home. My brother/sil come home from Massachusetts on Wednesday for my nephews wedding, so hopefully they can help out a little since they will be staying at her house anyway. It's doubtful that she will make it to the wedding, but we'll see! xx

We got snow as well. It started to really fall after I arrived at work. It caused havoc, even though it wasn't that bad. I think people forget how to drive between Spring and Winter. Hope everything cleared in time for the film show.
Nice shot of the snow. Glad your party was a success. If I may ask, your father-in-law is awaiting what type of surgery? Hope he is feeling better and that the surgery will bring relief.
