Thanks nmc! Mom was admitted this morning - heart doc says she will be there several days (which for mom easily turns into weeks...) & then she will go to a rehab, so she probably won't be home until after the 1st of the year for sure.

Please say a little prayer for my Mom (again!) This morning she had a rapid heart rate & shortness of breath. Now she is vomiting! Home health nurse to come at 3pm! Oh how I hate this for her! Poor lady!! Can't seem to catch a break!

I hope your Mom is ok....prayers for her...

Ours has finally hit today, enjoying the sunshine too. So nice not to be -17 degrees any longer.

Thank you, it has been a rough few weeks, emotionally and physically. She still has trouble every night, some worse than others. None of us are sleeping very much. Her cardiologist suggested I take her off the medicine, see how it goes for a week. If there's improvement, then put her back on it to see how she does-if she has trouble again, we will concur it is a bad reaction to the medicine. However, it's not typical. I'm worried about other diseases, and cognitive function. Breaks my heart to see her this way. I have scheduled an appointment with her regular vet for Friday, so she can examine her.

Prayers for Harlowe, I hope she feels better. And when you are not sleeping too is just makes everything worse.

"Good" morning MMC! Merry Pines Day!! What a "fun" day this has been so far - my boss is a crab, my Mom is in the hospital & I feel icky! No better, no worse! Started on antibiotic today. UGH!! BUT the day can only get better, right?? IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Happy Pines Day and 4 days to Christmas, MMC!!! Wait, did I just say 4 days???? Ahhhhh!!!! I still have cookies and fudge and cinnamon rolls and pies and gingerbread to make!!!! Not much of that going to happen today though. Mom has two doctors appointments this morning and then I have to go get a new battery for my car, grocery shopping, and a few last minute gifts to pick up. Then go pick my aunt up at work since I commadered her car again. Whew!! I need a nap already!! I'm sure Carl will have something to pick me up tonight though!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Morning MMC! I wrapped a good amount Monday and Tuesday. Need to do the same Wednesday through Friday and I should be done by then. The last Pines Day before Christmas...yikes. Well it's been a fun ride but I have to say I'm starting to really get excited for the Dynamic Duo coming this weekend. 2 more work days for me before that. I am off the next 2 Friday-Mondays so 4 days off, work a few days, and then 4 days off again. I may go on Friday to buy Rollins some extra gifts (of course if it comes down to last minute gift buying I would more likely spend it on him than anyone else). He's just a bit spoiled.

Happy Pines! I finished wrapping last night and I have a 1/2 day today. I am going to finish getting some stocking stuffers.
My oldest daughter made little gift bags with candy for her friends for Christmas. Well she left the bags on the floor and did not shut her door all the way and of course, my crazy Leo got in there and got into the Reeses PB cups. He ate 3 of them and was hoarding the rest of them under her bed.
I called the ER vet but based on his weight he was not too concerned and gave me some signs to watch out for but thank God he has been fine and his usual crazy self..

He's definitely gained a little weight but he should since he's not even a year old...but I think he will max out around 15LBS. Nitro was about 19LBS at his max.

Morning all! Today is my youngest daughters 7th birthday! 7! Why does time have to go so quickly?!

She is having a couple of friends over for tea later, she is so excited!

I took my eldest daughter to her friends last night, there was 6 of them and they all exchanged their gifts, us mums sat and had a chat about xmas whilst the girls were catching up. It was a lovely evening.
