Christmas Countdown - 2016

We're off Friday and Monday, too. I usually take the time between Christmas and New Years, but I'll stick around this year to support our manager. Speaking of Christmas shows, I still haven't watched It's a Wonderful Life yet this year!

I haven't yet, either. We have it on 16mm film, so I hold off watching it on DVD in case we screen the film. Same with a few other titles. Because of Monday being a holiday, we have an extra day to indulge in movies!

Last day of work till next Tuesday! We're not actually doing much except cooking for the guys and eating up all the goodies that vendors have sent in to us. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it!

Good Morning, MMC!! Wow!! What a party last night!!! That camel sure knows how to have fun!! Today isn't as busy here but it's mom's birthday so we will probably go out to lunch and then come back and do gifts. Ella is also getting spayed this morning so we will be anxiously awaiting news on how that went. I hope to get my fudge and gingerbread made today though. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Such a cute story, Leo must have been in heaven tasting those Reeses cups. Dogs just love when we forget to close a door and they get their hands on stuff they know they shouldn't. Loki once grabbed a whole bag of Denta Stix from the cupboard, got them out of the bag, probably ate a couple and then hid the remaining stack. Hope Leo is doing ok.

December 21 already, wow, this is just so incredible that in just over 72 hours Christmas day will be here.
I just work tomorrow and Friday and then vacation starts, I cannot wait, I am running on fumes at this point. I finished my wrapping this afternoon, went and saw LC's Christmas show at school, picked up some final desserts from Costco for Christmas. I don't think I have ever had such a hectic December.

Morning! Christmas Eve Eve Eve...we're running out of time till the big day. Today is my last work day before Christmas. I'll be off Friday through Monday. I don't know where this year has gone as it seems we were all here not long ago a few days before Christmas of 2015. But it's been an amazing and fun ride. Tonight I definitely will be wrapping more and watching Christmas shows. I'm going to enjoy it because Friday is going to be a very busy day. Glad I took it off because I need to get a lot done then.

Pretty good here yesterday with highs in the 50's, plenty of sun and no rain or wind. (Very nice indeed for December here in central North Carolina!)
Today is predicted to be even better, and we could break past the 60 degree mark.
At this hour, we stand just over 45 degrees here in the capital city.

Good morning MMC....Just work for me today and my daughter has b-ball practice tonight. Apparently, they are just playing games and getting candy, although I would have preferred if they just canceled it...lol
I am working tomorrow but off all next week so I am looking forward to it. Tonight I need to run and get a couple of stocking stuffers and a couple of gift bags but otherwise I am in good shape.

Poor Ella! I hope everything goes very well for her & she has a speedy recovery. I remember the day Gracie had her surgery...she was so sad afterwards. Guilt trip!!!!
