Your Superbowl menu sounds awesome! Superbowl is for the game AND for the food. I don't watch a lot of football but I always watch the big game with hubby. Still haven't decided on the food though. Who do you think has the edge between the Falcons and Patriots? Can't wait for Sunday (and the weekend) to get here.

Morning Edge. Our last day in the 40's will be today (at least for awhile). No precip in the near future, which is fine as I chopped out the ice in front of the driveway yesterday. My SuperBowl feast for this year will consist of BBQ wings (slow cooked beginning at noon on Sunday), shredded beef (slow-cooker) for tacos, sandwiches, nachos, etc... hot dogs, chips, popcorn and drinks.

Good Tuesday morning! David is back at work this morning, he got the ok from the doctor but he has another appointment in two weeks. The doctor is surprised at how quickly he seems to have healed, he says those types of injuries usually take 4-5 months. I do hope David does take it easy at work, he's the type to go all out and I don't want him to re-injure his shoulder. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift so I'm taking care of a few things for work and preparing supper. I have to go in for the oil change on our car too. Hope everyone will have a great day!

We'll keep David's health in our prayers. I can understand though, since I am so hard-headed when it comes to taking care of myself, which in many times I miss-label as "babying myself" and do too much.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

As a public accountant, Nancy is busy with tax season, so I took Elizabeth to dance last night. While she was dancing, I made a trip to WalMart, then I hung out at Krispy Kreme with a doughnut and a cup of coffee until it was time to pick her up. When she got in the car, she asked what smelled so good. It's just me! LOL

Well that was very decent of you. Krispy Kreme does make some great donuts, but the first time I saw them, it was at the Mall of America and there must have been 30+ people waiting in line. My wife asked me if I wanted to do it as well and I just shook my head. "There are a lot of things I may stand in line for," I told her, "But never for a doughnut!"

Happy Tuesday!!
My kids are getting out of school early due to the 1-3 inches of snow we are supposed to get and of course all activities are canceled which it is nice to have the night off.
I am hoping to squeeze in a work out before the snow starts, otherwise just work for me.
My house looks so bare without my tree up but oh well it will be back up before you know it.
Hard to believe this is the last day of January! Have a good day!

Afternoon SnowflakeMom. I hope you manage to get in your "chores" prior to the storm. We had our 8" last week and fortunately, it warmed up enough to get it all off the streets and sidewalks.
The tree is coming down today and the house will be getting ready for SuperBowl Sunday. I am off this week, so I can take my time... thankfully.
