Good morning MMC! I see everyone is sleeping in this morning. :)

Hope folks are having a good weekend. Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I'm going to church with my sister, then some chores and cooking a spaghetti squash pizza casserole for the big game we'll watch at a friend's house.

Have a great weekend!!

Good evening,

I just want to let you all know that Merlin passed away this morning, we got home yesterday and he wasn't able to use his hind legs. We brought him to the vet and they gave him a shot that was suppose to alleviate the pain from the arthritis and give him use of his legs back. It didn't work, he couldn't move them. My wife brought him to the vet again this morning and after talking to the vet, it was decided that euthanasia was the best. He was suffering, and we couldn't bear to see him like that. He had a long wonderful life, he was a trooper, never complained even when he was in pain.
We miss him terribly, we had him since 6 months into our relationship, 17.5 years, he has been there for every step of our life together.

Goodnight, everyone
Sorry to hear that. Been there...losing Nitro in May after having him 11 and a half years was really hard. In some ways its harder than losing a person. I hope you remember all the great times and develop that bond again with another animal (I think you have said you have another/other cat/dog). It's so worth it.

Happy Super Sunday! Today is a big day...it's like a holiday. Everyone ready for the big game tonight? Even if you aren't a big football fan it's a nice excuse to eat some good food and have fun. Definitely has a holiday feel to it. I'm hoping for a good game. We are having an Italian sub, chicken wings, chips, and some other food. Good stuff. Looks like today we may see some flurries but that's about it. Hope you all enjoy your Super Sunday!

I have sympathy for both of you and can identify. We lost our sheltie, "Fox" last May after 14 years.
It leaves a void only time can fill.

Good Morning, Super Season Supporters!

Yes, Folks. It's Super Bowl Sunday once again.
But let me tell you, our count and the closeness of the next Milestone is better than any old Super Bowl halftime show, right?
Well.....I'll let you be the judge.

Days to the Season: 281
Days to Christmas Day: 323

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY.
Just let that sink in, now.
One lone solitary week from today, we will have completed the entire first quarter of our march down the field to Christmas Season 2017 and will enter the 2nd of 4 quarters.
(Before you know it, it will be halftime!)

It was still rather chilly here yesterday, but a tad warmer than it was Friday.
Now today should see us back into the 50's once again with the 60's promised for tomorrow.
Then? Well, the weather service says by Tuesday or Wednesday, we could be flirting with 70 degrees!
(Hey, we can all use a little flirting now and then, right?)
Currently, we show 33 degrees on our back door thermometer after a brief, light rain.

You have a SUPER Sunday, Christmas and Football Fans.
In both senses of the word!

Thanks Crown! Happy Super Sunday (actually next Sunday looks to be Super also with that 25% milestone coming then)!

Thxs Crown. Try not to get used to the warmer temps there. Still a bit of winter left.

Sending warm thoughts to your family xmas365. Merlin was a champion and he'll be with you forever.

Good morning everyone.

It has been several days since I have had time to stop by. I hope everyone is doing well.
Last night my wife and I went out and the movie Jackie. Natalie Portman did a wonderful job as Jackie Kennedy.
Today is Super Bowl Sunday! Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of either team. But I am going to go with the Falcons. However, before the Super Bowl I need to get some grading done, lesson plan for next week and do some laundry. Everyone have a great day!

Can't believe I haven't noticed, but a house a couple of streets over still has their wreath up and lit at night. Gotta say that it brought a smile to my face.

Saw on Facebook where someone put there was 8 more months until Christmas stuff was in stores....thought they must not have a Hobby Lobby in their area!

Big day tomorrow. Got something put in the crockpot and it is already cooking. Gonna smell great in the morning. Should be ready just in time of the big game tomorrow. Hope y'all have a great night of rest and see you tomorrow!
Should stop by my place Coach. The icicle lights, lit garland around the garage and the lit archway into the house are all still up...
Enjoy the game...

My deepest sympathy xmas. I have been there more times than I care to remember. Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters and even a rooster. We always know in the back of our minds that we will probably outlive our pets, but that does not make it any easier when the time arrives. You gave and received love... no better legacy can be had for any family pet...

Morning Iteach. Neither team is mine as well. Of course my past history has usually been if all else fails go with the Papa of the NFL... the NFC.
Let's do it Falcons...

Top of the Morning to you DoYouHear. Sleeping in? Nope, I was at the laundromat from 4:30 - 7:15. Time to do those pesky comforters, blankets, mattress pads, etc... those items too big for the home machine.
Went to church yesterday, so today, I'll get things sorted out, take a quick nap and then fix the SuperBowl feast.
The final menu... BBQ chicken legs & thighs, bacon wrapped meatballs (choice of BBQ or Marinara dip), seasoned ground beef, refried beans, french fries, tortilla chips (salsa dip), potato chips (french onion dip), popcorn and soda. Good thing I am off tomorrow...

As of this moment, 9 hours & 24 minutes until the beginning of the SuperBowl (not necessarily the kick-off).
Sorry Crown, but this one is on me.
Lots of food to be consumed and hoping the game goes into the forth quarter tight. Maybe even a first for the big game... OT!!!
Let's do it Falcons...

I'll go along with the observation concerning the halftime show, since that is my time to refresh, stretch my legs and refill for the second half.
Enjoy the day Crown...
