Christmas Countdown - 2017

With more snow on the way, we're just hunkering down and doing indoors things today. The snow amount forecasts vary pretty widely between about 8 inches and 18 inches. I guess we'll know soon enough! We got stocked up yesterday so we can stay in today and work from home tomorrow.

I think next on the agenda for me today will be video, tea, and crochet ... been experimenting with entrelac crochet methods ...

Happy Milestone Day friends!!! One quarter of the way there to the Season. It's flying right on by!

Those of you who are snowed in, hang in there. It's 77 degrees here and I'm walking around without a jacket for the day-so, so weird. It was 22 degrees 36 hours ago and will be back in the 50s tomorrow. What weird weather we're having.

We have two window units-it gets hot in the apartment! But, these reasons totally make it worth the sweat! Can't believe I'm already so excited!!

Forgot to mention---my cactus is developing some buds ... in February! It's never budded in February before. During the Christmas season it only had two blooms.

Whoa nelly, here comes a line of storms. It feels like CIJ with this 80 degree weather, short sleeves, and walks outside! Just got back before the wind whipped up and the sky opened up!

Just spent the afternoon sitting in the backyard watching my girls play. Since it was over 80 degrees one of them decided to dig a big hole in a soft area of the yard, stuff a tarp down in it and fill it with water for a makeshift swimming hole. Of course within an hour it was half filled with mud but they didn't care. Now I just walked into my office and every calendar on the wall or desk has a winter picture on it for February. This is crazy.
