Happy Friday to all the MMC community. Here is South Dakota, the final day of March is definitely going out like a lamb. Slightly overcast, with mild temps and little to no wind. Work is going okay, but with the Spring and Summer come the heavier stuff... grills, mowers, bags of fertilizer, mulch, dirt, etc... and of course being a guy, I don't ask for help. Yes, I know that at times that can be very stupid (I don't mind that word), but I never laid claim to being the smartest person on the planet. 
Connie is feeling a little sore from over doing her PT and so as I left the store today, I picked up a rack of ribs and a disposable baking pan. It has now been cooking on low for the last 2.5 hours. I coated it with BBQ sauce, along with me and part of the floor, next time I really should check the lid before I shake it up. Since I have it at 275, it should take around 1 to 1.5 hours more to be ready and then a quick trip under the broiler to sear the top.
Not much else going on, so I will sign off for now and do some studying before turning in. Everyone have a great day and a phenomenal weekend...

TGIF, Christmas friends!
Jacob has the flu, doggone it. He seemed to feel better after lunch, but he's not going to school today. He was up late playing Xbox and wallowing (wallerin', as we say here in the south) on the couch. He won't be satisfied until we're all sick, too. Grrr. If any of your have ever seem the show "The Middle", he is Axle's twin.
Lunch with Mama & Jim today, then the auction with Jim and Bernie tonight.

Good morning HMG! Stay dry today!! I bet you are glad you got your shopping done last night! Enjoy planning your Easter menu. My niece (my Goddaughter) put on our family FB page last night that she will host Easter this year. NICE!!! It's an undertaking with 50 people... they just built a new beautiful home, so should be plenty of room for our crew!!And hopefully it's a beautiful day we can be outside for most of it!

As the night winds down, I am listening to the sleet hitting the window. Probably old man winter's last hurrah. I will miss the season, as I love winter, but it will be back in less than 9 months.

Meteorological winter will actually start December 1 I believe so only 8 months till it does and we will be well into the Christmas season before that!

Good Morning and welcome to April! (that almost sounds like an April Fool's joke...how could it be APRIL already?)
Our great leader Crown is away for the weekend and so I will attempt to fill in for the next 2 days till he returns.
Let's take a look at today's count as we enter into the 4th month of the year already!
Days to the Season: 226
Days to Christmas Day: 268
3 weeks from Wednesday we reach our next milestone (the 1/3 point of the way to Christmas Day) followed by the 200-day season window which is one of my personal favorite milestones of the year (it just feels so amazing to see the season count enter the "1s").
Well guys here we are now into April yet in my area we are seeing a cold rain with temps in the 30s this morning (and even the chance of some wet snow showers mixed in). But no matter what your weather conditions are today smile at the fact that we have turned the calendar for yet another month this year and as the next several months progress we will be getting closer and closer to our favorite time of the year. Have a great Saturday!
