Sunshine today that is rapidly melting the snow, sleet, slush, and rain from yesterday---hooray! There's a constant drip drip drip from outside as winter (hopefully) melts away. We're in for a heavy rainstorm on Tuesday, though. That's another part of spring!

Happy Sunday! My youngest daughter woke up with a fever this morning and not feeling too great so it is going to be a low key day which is fine with me. I need to catch up on laundry and run to the grocery store later.

Yes it is! Glad you had a snowfall yesterday! We've been done for about a month now. All is well though-spring coming now!

Turned out half way decent today...for a change. We got in a walk and checked out the previous mountains of snow that are almost gone now. Tomorrow is suppose to be in the 60's and thats it for the week. Rain and more rain...with a extra helping of RAIN!!..lol

Messy, cold, and wet here on the first day of April. Snow and slushy. Really?? Red Sox opening day is Monday!! Mother Nature must have her April Fools Day prank. (Better than some years ago, though, when we got 26 inches of snow after a nearly snowless winter.)

Excited for the Sox season beginning, so much sports to follow right now. I remember my senior year in high school (1993) waiting outside on the Friday before spring vacation and it was snowing. People were so upset that it was snowing in mid-April.

We are going from this cold rain to miserable HOT in a matter of days when it changes.....mark my words!!

Finally caught up!
Didn't pop in last night due to having company, and just exhausted after they left.

We went to the Black Wolves game this afternoon, they won a thriller 15-14 vs the Toronto Rock. Only 2 more home games left this season, but we are planning to renew our season tickets for next year. We just really enjoy it, and it is cheaper than season passes to Six Flags.
Back to work in the morning.

Happy Monday MMC! Happy to me because my supervisor is back today which I'm glad about. Also, it's April now and well it just feels good saying that knowing we're really into spring. Looks like this week we will have a couple of more rain storms. At least we won't have a drought this summer most likely. Just a Monday at work and should be busy this week as I always am the 1st week of the month. Have a great day!

Merry Monday!
It's going to be a pretty nice day, partly cloudy with a high of 57 degrees. I was going to put my food shopping off until tomorrow but we have some rain moving in so I think I'll get it over with today. I'm also going to take a ride to Hallmark for Easter cards. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be shredded chicken tacos. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well. It always seems to go that way. Its crazy because its not so hot..but the sudden change is unbearable. I always laugh because when we hit 50° I saw people in shorts already. As soon as fall hits and it drops to 50° they are all bundled up like a blizzard is coming.

And that is indeed incredible, isn't it? APRIL already!
I step away for a couple of days, come back, and it's another month entirely. Where is the year going, for heaven's sake?
(Hey, we know, don't we. It's slowly dwindling down to Chrsitmas, that's where!)


First up this morning: The count did not lag. It stayed intact while I was gone.
Not surprising, really. After all, we have the Edge here, don't we? And not just the Edge, the one and ONLY Edge.

Real nice weather for our trip to the coast. The winter was kind to the cottage and there was not too much remedial work to be done. Just a bit of brush cutting and minor repairs. Had a nice dinner out Saturday evening at one of the fish restaurants.
The weather forecast for here shows good days ahead. Not too hot. Not too cold.
(Now if only it was not so polleny!)
We are at 52 degrees here right now.

A day of errands after church, but just glad to have a day to get things done at home. Back to work tomorrow! Have a lovely Sunday, MMC friends! April really is the first month that feels like spring to me. Trees are starting to sprout leaves now around here, and I'm fully in spring fever mode! Loving the chance to porch sit and enjoy some warmer weather. It also means CIJ will be here before we know it!

Greeting DoYouHear. After church for me was catching up on sleep, since I worked the night before. But I did have a nice relaxing Sunday evening with my better half (Connie) and we caught up on some DVR recordings and dines on her new favorite pizza place... Domino's. A beautiful misty morning here with temps already in the mid 40's.
