Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good morning ~
I didn't sleep well, we had thunderstorms passing through and poor Maggie barked for hours. Looks like it's clearing up now, it's going to be partly sunny today with highs near 70. I have to do some food shopping this morning. I also need to pick up a script for Maggie's cough suppressant at the veterinarian and have that filled. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. Not too much else going on. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Oh poor little Maggie being spooked by the storms. Give her a hug from my and Loki. Is her cough suppressant helping her through the night (other than when there are storms)? Hope you are well and will enjoy a nice day HMG.

Good morning MMC!! Merry Tuesday!!! We have another wind advisory for today! Much cooler too. My hubby came back home this morning for a long sleeve shirt! Chance of frost tonight. Crazy weather!

I had the Hallmark Channel on last night (as usual ) - Tool Time, Last Man Standing, & The Middle all had Christmas episodes on! I was planning to watch a movie last night, but that changed my mind!

Had some rain yesterday evening and were under a severe thunderstorm watch but nothing significant materialized. Today is predicted to be sunny with a high in the upper 70's.
(Sounds pretty nice!)
Currently, we are situated at 63 degrees here in the central part of the state, under cloudless and sunny skies.

Good Tuesday morning! We had some heavy rain last night and though it's clearing up this morning, more rain to come later today. We should see some sunshine maybe tomorrow and Thursday, I'm not holding my breath. It's been so rainy this Spring that many areas are flooded throughout the province. Right now I have a potato and leek gratin cooking in the oven as I'm working the afternoon/evening shift. I also have a routine dentist appointment this morning. And I made an appointment to see a physiotherapist on Monday for my Achille's tendon. Anti-inflammatory medicine is doing the trick right now, but I won't be taking that forever. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!

The rain was crazy! I hope you did not get caught in the mess from the tanker explosion on I75. WOW!

Prom went well. We won some money at after prom too.

The rain was crazy - and now the wind!
We had to go to Englewood so we took 48 down, thankfully! How tragic ~ good thing more people weren't injured or killed.
Glad to hear prom went well. Congrats on your win!!

Just got home from a great school event. Tonight was our top scholars award banquet. There is a great dinner and awards ceremony. The members from National Honor Society are recognized as are many scholarship awards. Also, each department at the high school gives an award to a senior. It is such a wonderful event to showcase the hard work and dedication of the students. I know the "youth" get a bad rap a lot of times, but trust me, there are some really wonderful kiddos doing some amazing things. Tonight was a a great reminder of why I teach.

Morning MMC! Hope everyone had a good 1st day of May. It was pretty crazy how many people made comments to me about how they "could not believe it's ALREADY May." I guess we at MMC aren't the only ones saying time is going ridiculously fast this year. Looks like we will see temps close to 70 today with partly sunny skies. A beautiful May day. After that looks like more of a cooler pattern for the 2nd half of this week into next week as well. Hope everyone has a good Tuesday!

It has been a crazy busy 3 days for me, look forward to back to work and some routine.
grad, party and tests all done.

Hopefully the rain goes soon and it warms up again, the last few days have been chilly and the furnace is not working. Glad it at least is not winter.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I think the pool has finally made the turn, and may actually be safe for swimmers this summer LOL. Just two weeks ago, I couldn't see deeper than about 12", and I've finally got it clear. No alligators!

About the same time finished vacuuming, it started raining hard, so I was stuck under the shelter attached to my shop. At least I didn't have to re-fill the pool after vacuuming, thanks to all the rain.
