Morning Brad. A/C huh? We may get around to that here in SD in say June or July. Glad to hear you got your Mom's one hooked up though. I can relate to the age thing, of course in my case you have to add a dozen years. Got covered with a bit of snow this AM, when I noticed a limb starting to give under the weight of the very wet snow and hanging on our cable line. So out comes the rake and I knocked off most of it. Of course gravity had it's say and it landed on me...Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!
I worked like a pack mule Saturday. Mom's A/C hasn't worked well for a few months, and it finally quit a couple weeks ago. My brother has a friend in the business who helped us order a new unit at cost, and he agreed to help us install it. I used to work part-time for an HVAC contractor while I was in college, so I thought I would be a big help. It turns out that my 30 year old experience is out of date, and so is my 52 year old body! We got it done, though!
Jacob sang Friday night with the University Singers, and again Sunday afternoon in an opera. Both shows were great, although I confess that opera just isn't my thing. I love choir, barbershop, jazz, ballet, and most musicals, but not opera. I guess I'm just not sophisticated enough LOL.
I vacuumed the pool again yesterday afternoon, and I can finally see the bottom! Maybe it won't be too long.
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()

Not an opera fan either. I can appreciate what it takes to achieve that level of singing. I use to belong to a group called Up With People way, way back. But even that was nothing compared to what it takes to hit those opera arias. But I'm glad he did well. Have a great start to May.
Oh and I take it back slightly, I did like one opera. Here is the poster for it. Enjoy...
