Happy Pines everyone!
Just stopped by to say hello and have a cup of coffee. Then I have a TON of grading to do. Four classes of tests and study guides to grade. I probably won't get all of it done tonight, but I need to make a big dent.
We still have not been able to get our backyard/garden area done. It keeps raining! We started this evening, but then it started raining and is suppose to rain through at least Friday and maybe into Saturday.
I hope everyone has had a great day.

she went for her bone marrow biopsy, but something was not right so they stopped it. She has to see the radiologist first for xrays etc. After that we will know more what needs to be done. So again we wait to have it done.

Happy Friday Eve! May the 4th be with you! And now a real chill out there this morning. The weatherman says for the next week it will be below normal temps for May. I guess we should be ok with that and avoid the heat while we can but I wouldn't mind it being a little warmer. After all, it is May...just like when we had that really warm Christmas 2 years ago it didn't feel like it should have. Hope everyone's 1st week of May is going ok so far!

Good Morning, Everyone.
Seems incredible that we are already talking about nearing single digits to a Milestone again, but -- well -- we are.
However, let's look at today's numbers before we concern ourselves with Milestones.
Days to the Season: 193
Days to Christmas Day: 235
OK! We are advancing rapidly on the 8th Milestone marker of 2017, the HALF WAY point to the Season.
And it's SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow, Guys!

It was just about as perfect as it gets here yesterday, weather wise.
We had a high in the low 70's, bushels of sun, little to no wind, and almost absent humidity. I could sure get used to this. But, of course, that would be a mistake, because very warm and humid weather is pending soon.
Right now, our thermometer tells me it is 60 degrees in our little portion of the great MMC Empire, and we are supposed to get rain tonight and tomorrow.

How are all you in the path of all this rain doing? It is due to hit here later this morning with lots of rain fall and flood warnings out. With all the rain we have had already, there is no place for more to go.
Off work today so doing some baking, putting a turkey in the oven later and doing some running around, hopefully before it starts to rain.
