Good Monday morning! I worked all weekend and I have the day off. I have my first physio appointment later today and I have to review my notes for diversity training that I am giving tomorrow. I'm actually training new managers for the rest of the week as well. I'm two weeks away from some vacation time, I'm counting down the days. Have a great start to the week everyone!

Morning MMC and happy fall in May Monday! I love it though I'm sure it will go from this to like 90 in a few days. What can ya do? Took our little shaver to go see Thomas the train yesterday. He was so excited and waved and said hi to him, then we got on the thing and it was panic and terror lol. In the end once we were moving he had fun. I know Thomas is supposed to run on coal but I swear they must have been feeding it dollars I don't know any parents who left with their wallets intact. I hope you all have a beautiful day!

Good Morning, Christmas Season Pursuers!

And in the effort to pursue and overtake our Season of choice, we encounter and gather Milestone markers along the way.
Our next close encounter of the Milestone kind is just ONE WEEK ahead!
(More about that in a moment.)

Today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 189
Days to Christmas Day: 231

And the marker that's just a week away? Well, it's a big one.
The HALF WAY point to Christmas Season 2017.
(And that's big, Guys. That's really big!)

Continued coolish weather was had yesterday, but it was comfortable owing to the extremely low humidity.
(Actually, summer would be quite easy to take around here if it was not for the humidity.)
Today comes with no prediction of rain and a high of 70. With continued low humidity, it should make for an excellent day to start the week!
We are off to a bit of a chilly beginning this morning, at 50 degrees here.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks!
Enjoy your week.

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday! We have sunshine!!!! After 3 days of torrential rain last week, the sun decided to come out Saturday, Sunday & again today! Saturday & Sunday were WINDY & CHILLY, but at least we saw sun!! We had a little frost on our roof this morning, but with the calm wind it feels warmer than yesterday! Friday was a total wash out! Just a miserable rainy day. We had to break out the rubber boots at the lake! But we had fun shopping in Amishville anyway! :)

Not much going on today. Just working. Hubby has the week off - lucky duck!

Everyone, have a great day!

@HomemakinGirl I have been thinking about & praying for you & sweet Maggie!

Good morning MMC !

computers drive me nuts sometimes, only thing is some of my favorite people live here so I cannot throw it out the window.

Have to take mom for pre op for her cataract surgery on the 28th, so we get to check out some thrift stores in another town ! See what I can find that is Christmassy.

Good evening. I haven't been on here in SO long ... since my last day at work before Christmas vacation. I popped in here because for some reason the thought of Christmas in July just popped into my head!

Have a great rest of the day!
Nice to see you - 2 days in a row Mom21! Hope all is well with you! It will be Christmas in July before we know it! Have a good day!

Good Morning ... another damp, overcast chilly day. The sun was out this morning but the clouds moved back in. Made cinnamon rolls morning and roasting a turkey breast this afternoon ... feels more like fall then spring :)

Hope everyone has a great day
I bet your house smelled really amazing!!! I was in the mood to make cinnamon raisin bread this weekend, but I didn't have time! Not looking good for next weekend either! :(
Have a good day Minta!

Good Monday morning to the entire MMC community. Another long week filled to the brim with work & chores (plus a little bit of sleep in between). Trying to get everything done last week and in these first couple of days and then I am taking Connie (my wife and better half) to Idaho and visit with her parents for a week. I know it can be tough on her realizing that not only are they a few states away, but both are in their mid eighties. I try to make this trip every year, to make sure she does not feel regret about not visiting when the unfortunate time will arrive. But we will dwell on that when the time comes, for now we can celebrate being together. The lawn is starting to come along, but I will wait to reseed till I get back to ensure it is watered correctly. I do have to re-pot some Asian Lilies. I am not much of a gardener and got "one" originally so I would not have to plant them every year. I was not aware that they had babies and soon the one plant would grow into ten plants. Oh well.
Church visits are going well. It is interesting to see how varied the structure (for lack of a better word) is for each service in the individual churches. The one thing that I have taken note of is how many prefer their music in a contemporary style, with electric guitars, organs and drums. I don't really mind the style too much. It does have a negative effect on me when it resembles a rock concert and my ears are ringing from the volume (this has only happened on two occasions thus far). However, the sermons for the most part have been very good and demonstrates the unity that is still deep inside each member of the Christian Community. Still a long way to go before the year ends and many more Houses of Worship to visit.
Other than that, everything here is going fairly well. Hopefully after this little trip, things will quiet down a hair and I can find time to get back online more often. I do miss our daily greetings, updates and happenings in the lives of our group.
Have a Magical Monday all...

Morning MMC! Mother's Day Week has begun. I have a long day because I have work and then my final exam. The good thing is after today I won't be taking a class until the day after Labor Day. It's chilly here as in I have had to close more windows than open them. Looks like a cool week again. It's been a strange spring. Have a great Monday!
There won't be any windows open here - at least not this morning! LOL! Hope you & Rollins had fun at the parks this weekend! Have a great Monday!

That's exactly what I said last night - it felt like a fall night! Brrrrr! I turned on the fireplace!
Glad to hear you all had a fun (expensive) time with Thomas The Train! :) Have a great day FKB!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

Elizabeth was away at an amusement park with her church youth group all day Saturday, then that group did the whole church service on Sunday morning. It's a great group of kids!

I spent most of Saturday cleaning out my shop. What a mess.

After lunch at mom's yesterday, Nancy left for a couple days in Charleston, SC with her office for their after-tax-season trip. then Jacob and I built him a guitar pedal stand to hold the volume, distortion & chorus pedals he uses with his guitar.

Prayers for HmG today.

I hope y'all have a great day! :)
