Good morning MMC...happy Monday!! It is pretty chilly out there this morning. Just work for me today and my daughter has a golf match this afternoon. Otherwise should be a quiet day. Hope you all have a good start to the week!
Have a good Monday, Holiday!! Some parts of CT had snowflakes this morning...crazy!Good morning MMC! Merry Monday! We have sunshine!!!! After 3 days of torrential rain last week, the sun decided to come out Saturday, Sunday & again today! Saturday & Sunday were WINDY & CHILLY, but at least we saw sun!! We had a little frost on our roof this morning, but with the calm wind it feels warmer than yesterday! Friday was a total wash out! Just a miserable rainy day. We had to break out the rubber boots at the lake! But we had fun shopping in Amishville anyway!
Not much going on today. Just working. Hubby has the week off - lucky duck!

Good afternoon... The weather this past weekend and this morning really felt more like fall then Spring. We also had to close our windows keep the heater turned on downstairs for my mom in the evenings and overnight. We have dual heating zones and haven't had the upstairs heater on in a few weeks. It doesn't look like it will warm up too much this week either before the temps take a nose dive this weekend when another rain system moves through. Have a great day!

Hi there Martine. Sounds like you do as much training as you do with your own managerial duties. Must be exhausting at times. Thanks for your kind words. I try to appreciate the feelings Connie has for her family. My own were not very close and most have long ago passed on. It was not that I ever questioned their love or care, it was simply that we were all so very different and the entire family (outside the immediate one) was spread out across the US, so gatherings were not something I ever experienced.
Enjoy your vacation and don't forget to squeeze in a few hours to just relax...
Morning Frosty. Here in the great state of South Dakota it has been up and down as well. Yesterday topped 80, today low 70's and tomorrow mid 60's. Of course having gotten so acclimated to the weather in ND, I am a lot more comfortable in the 65-75 range than I am above 75.
Glad he had a good time. Always reminds me of how my son would panic in the lap of Santa or the Easter Bunny, but felt very safe and secure in the arms of a guy dressed as Spider-man. Go figure...
Hi Holiday. Was your less-than-desirable weather at your home or the lake itself? We have been very fortunate here thus far in 2017. Rain for a day here and there, with enough sun and warmth to dry it out before the next appearance of liquid sunshine. The good thing is you found a diversion to the weather. Happy Tuesday Christmasstar. I'll go along with you on the computer. The worse part is the constant updates that while they may help some, are motivated to make others have to change. My own laptop which is from 2006 has only 32G on it (and not even 2/3 full), has the Vista system on it and Microsoft word. It does absolutely fine for what I need. But, now the browsers say that come the Fall, they will not be able to support the Vista system and Word has been changed to Office which looks like it requires yearly updates/fees to keep it going rather than just buying the program.
I pray all goes well with your mother's surgery and just as hopeful that you will find some new Christmas treasures for this season (maybe even to celebrate Christmas in July)...
We had some on the first (4 inches to be exact). I loved it! Kept the temps down and since it was going to be back up in the 50's and 60's over the next few days... no shoveling. I'm sure the heat will find it's way to you sooner or later Gunny...
Sounds like and eventful weekend Brad. I absolutely love my time with the family, but I won't lie and say that on occasion, when the wife and daughter are out doing the Mother/Daughter thing that I do not enjoy the quiet. Probably too many years on guard duty...Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!
Elizabeth was away at an amusement park with her church youth group all day Saturday, then that group did the whole church service on Sunday morning. It's a great group of kids!
I spent most of Saturday cleaning out my shop. What a mess.
After lunch at mom's yesterday, Nancy left for a couple days in Charleston, SC with her office for their after-tax-season trip. then Jacob and I built him a guitar pedal stand to hold the volume, distortion & chorus pedals he uses with his guitar.

Happy Tuesday MMC! Another chilly morning here in May. But with some sunshine coming out today hopefully it will feel pleasant this afternoon. My exam went ok Monday Evening. Oddly enough after a crazy busy day at work and exam in the evening I woke up early this morning and have energy. I'm sure that I'll crash tonight. Have a great Tuesday!

Greetings Edge. Talk about the power of positive thinking... lol. Hopefully you will not crash hard. When do you find out the results for the exam (or do you already know)? Been up for awhile and have my regular Tuesday morning Bible study in about 40 minutes at one of the BKs in town.
At least the "class" time is over for a few months, so soak up the rest of Spring and Summer...
