Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good morning, friends! Another busy day here. About to hit the road for an out-of-town meeting. Nothing like driving two hours for a simple one hour meeting and driving two hours back!

We had some on the first (4 inches to be exact). I loved it! Kept the temps down and since it was going to be back up in the 50's and 60's over the next few days... no shoveling. I'm sure the heat will find it's way to you sooner or later Gunny...

Its going to be another year of skipping spring..lol
We will go from 50's to 80° overnight with nothing in between.

Second day of the work week.
One day before 'Pines Day.
.....And less than a week to our next Milestone marker!

Days to the Season: 188
Days to Christmas Day: 230

And indeed, incredble though it may seem, we are now only SIX days away from being HALF WAY back to our beloved Christmas Season!
(What fun the end of this week will be!)


Still cool but very comfortable with low humidity, no rain, lots of sun and absent wind.
Today may see a change as the storm clouds gather, and rain is a distinct possiblilty.
We have commenced this day-before-'Pines Day at 51 degrees here in the central part of the state.

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!! Looks like we have some rain on deck for this morning with a nice day ahead tomorrow. Supposed to have temps near 70! More rain for Thurs & Fri then hopefully a nice wedding Saturday for my Godbaby's wedding! xx

Not much planned for today! Just work & then ??? I need to get to the grocery soon. Gracie needs some cold meat to take her meds with! I need to make a bunch of Oreo Balls for my nieces dessert table Saturday at the wedding. I may start on them tonight. Hopefully the don't take too long - the worst part is dipping them in chocolate!

I hope everyone's day is off to a great start & you have a wonderful day ahead!

Hi Holiday. Was your less-than-desirable weather at your home or the lake itself? We have been very fortunate here thus far in 2017. Rain for a day here and there, with enough sun and warmth to dry it out before the next appearance of liquid sunshine. The good thing is you found a diversion to the weather. It always amazes me how many people seemingly love to complain rather than make the best of a situation. Way to go. Have a good week and smile when your husband sleeps in...

Good morning CGY!! The less than desirable weather was at home & at the lake (they are less than 10 miles apart) AND in Amishville!! Rain, Rain, Rain... we had over 7" in less than a week. So we find things to do on a rainy day, right!

Happy Tuesday MMC! Another chilly morning here in May. But with some sunshine coming out today hopefully it will feel pleasant this afternoon. My exam went ok Monday Evening. Oddly enough after a crazy busy day at work and exam in the evening I woke up early this morning and have energy. I'm sure that I'll crash tonight. Have a great Tuesday!

Tuesday morning greetings friends. Well, this is my one day (actually night) to work this week before heading off to Idaho, where the spuds are large and the football field is blue.
Just finished Bible study and will see about a haircut before jetting out. The yard is about done for this week and I have just a few chores today and then pack tomorrow. I hate to wait till the last minute to pack. One other chore just finished... haircut. Barber called me right as I was composing this, so I went and just got back. That is about all the news that's fit to print. So I hope you all have a really nice Tuesday and a great week...

Nope I live on the east Coast in New Jersey. It has been dipping down into the 40s the past few nights. Our current highs should be our lows for this time of the year. As of right now they are calling for rain and temps in the mid 50s for this weekend.

Hi CG...my oldest daughter does soccer and this is her first year trying golf.
My youngest, she is 11 she does basketball and softball and dance one night a week.
