I hope you get good results from your tests!

Nancy had some blood work done a couple weeks ago (everything is fine), and one of the ordered tests was for vitamin D. My insurance said it was an "experimental" test, and they refused to pay for it! Now I'm on the hook for a few hundred dollars for a quick test. Grrr.

Oh no, sorry to hear that you ended up with a bill. I wonder if I'll be billed as well, that was one of the tests that was ordered. So frustrating.

GM all...Happy Rudolph Day! And yet we have more rain!! I heard it may clear up today but heavy rain tonight and tomorrow morning. The weekend does not look too great either but oh well we have Monday off and I can relax. Just work for me today and tonight my oldest daughter has World Fair Day. It is part of her final for her geography class. She has to make a big trifold on Iran and she made an Iranian dessert. My husband is working late so it will be my youngest daughter and I going. Hope you all have a great day! 7 months from today is Christmas day!!

Sounds amazing. My kids are also celebrating world culture and diversity day here today. Hope you guys had fun.

It is a three day weekend here and the kids are finishing school today for their 2 week break.
We are having a heatwave but thunderstorms tomorrow and a mixed weekend ahead. We'll take any sun we can get

Morning MMC! TGIF! Next Stop: Memorial Day Weekend! Today should be a very laid back day at work. 2 of my coworkers took off and my boss is going out of town for the holiday. It's just me and my coworker/friend. We joke around a lot and I'm sure we will be doing that today alone and trying to do at least some work in between. We are having a BBQ on Monday for the holiday. I'm so happy that the unofficial start of summer is about to begin. I just hope it goes slow. It feels like we were in January not too long ago. Have a great Friday and start to your weekend my MMC peeps!

Our goal is clear. Our progress toward it, relentless.
We continue our steady advance on Christmas Season 2017.

The ever-declining numbers keep coming in by the day.
Days to the Season: 171
Days to Christmas Day: 213

And the next Milestone draws ever nearer.
It is the 200-day Christmas Day Window, and its presence is but 13 days ahead.
Less than two weeks now.
And after that -- well -- after that, BOTH of our counts will start with that coveted number ONE!


More rain fell yesterday. But not as hard and not as often, as relief approaches.
Today should be blessedly dry and we can use the break.
Currently, it is clear/sunny and we are greeted this Weekend Eve morning with a temperature reading of 62 degrees here in central North Carolina.

Good morning MMC!! Merry Friday!!! I hope everyone's Memorial Friday is off to a good start!! Not much to report today - I'm working until noon & then the weekend can begin!! I'll head to the lake this afternoon. We have our friends son's graduation brunch tomorrow morning, then our neighbor boys wedding tomorrow afternoon. Busy day! Looking forward to getting back to the lake on Sunday for a couple days of relaxing! *fingers crossed!*

Love it!!! I called Mom last night to tell her "The Good Old Summertime" was on tv. It's a movie set at Christmas time. I didn't watch it, but I did DVR it. Mom loved it!!
