Christmas Countdown - 2017

Hi Holiday,
Thank you for thinking of us. Such sadness here . We had a training session at work on what to do in those circumstances including finding hiding places in the building etc. Can you imagine this is now part of our work routine.

On Sunday they held a tribute concert in Manchester. Funny we had been having awful rain all week and suddenly on Sunday evening the rains stopped and it turned into cloudless blue skies with beautiful sunshine. It was held outdoors and it was so moving and beautiful.

Hope you are doing well and having a good week so far.

It's so terrible that training for an attack is part of business now. We're even ramping up here with new security systems, locks, drills, etc.

I'm glad the tribute concert was so nice!

It's Nancy's birthday today! She and Elizabeth are still in Jacksonville with Nancy's sister, but I'm about to go meet them for lunch, then bring them home.

Its a evolving world Brad and unfortunately most of the countries havent evolved with it. It will never end until major ways of thinking change on how to deal with these people.

Yes, the rain. It was with us most of the day yesterday and it looks like we could get some more this evening.
At least for tomorrow, when I travel to the coast, it is supposed to be clear.
(Cooler and with lower humidity, too!)
Right now, we observe 68 sunny degrees on our back door thermometer located in the capital city, and the birds are singing.

Good Tuesday morning! Another rainy, cool day but starting tomorrow, we're supposed to line up many sunny, Summer-like days. I have the day off. Just doing laundry and heading out grocery shopping in a bit. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!!! It's another beautiful sunny day here with a high of 73 predicted! Tomorrow is only supposed to hit 64º! But that's ok - I'll be staying with Mom & preparing food for our family vacation so I'll be inside anyway! Looks like it will be heating up for the weekend, hitting 90º! Whew!

We had a crazy rain storm come through yesterday afternoon. I was at moms & it rained & hailed like crazy - looked like it was snowing. We got 1/2" rain in about 8-10 minutes. Sun came back out & it continued on as a beautiful day! Crazy!

I hope everyone's day is off to a good start!!

Yes, that is not something that should be a new normal! So terrifying! What a neat story about the weather for the tribute! Always amazing when things like that happen! I'm glad it was a beautiful tribute!

Morning MMC! A drizzly morning out there. As we now have some chilly weather here for the next 3 days for June. After that the warm-up begins, the a.c. goes up this weekend and then the heat hits finally with temps well into the 80s with humidity. Had a busy day at work so much I barely got to log on here.
