I'm so glad to be at work...I need the rest! I worked in the yard all day Saturday, edging and string-trimming. Then I mowed the lawn, but first I had to fix the flat tire on the mower. and it was in the upper 90's all day. Whew.
Yesterday afternoon, my brother and I installed some window air conditioners at the Methodist Campground cabin that my mother-in-law owns, getting ready for campmeeting.
I'm bruised and scratched and tired. (Feel sorry for me yet?)
Nancy & Elizabeth went to Jacksonville yesterday morning with Nancy's sister for an accounting seminar at a fancy hotel on the beach. I have to go pick them up tomorrow since Nancy has to get back to work, so I'll be out most of the day. It sure is hard to sleep when Nancy's not there!

She is going to get company in July - our lake neighbors daughter is getting married out of state & they didn't want to board their Wheaten (Katie), so I offered to take her. This is going to be interesting!!

Good afternoon .. Can't believe its Monday already. This past weekend so was busy that I feel like I blink and POOF it was over. Weekend wasn't a total loss as I did manage to get the kids bathroom repainted .. Loved how it turned out and we got a new (well new to us) entertainment unit for the living room. I am so tired today and I am having a long term relationship today with coffee

We are travelling in the same boat. All of the kids and grandbabies spent the weekend with us. This included a day at the regional amusement park. Everyone had a great time, but the calm of the office routine is welcome.Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

He is fantastic, Holiday! Glad to hear you enjoy it. I first heard Dave Barnes on the Merry Podcast about three years ago. Jeff played "Christmas Tonight," which is a lovely duet with Dave and Hillary Scott. Right after, I believe, was Matt Wertz with "Snow Globe," which, of course, quickly became my most favourite Christmas song of all-time.

Thank you for thinking of us. Such sadness here . We had a training session at work on what to do in those circumstances including finding hiding places in the building etc. Can you imagine this is now part of our work routine.
On Sunday they held a tribute concert in Manchester. Funny we had been having awful rain all week and suddenly on Sunday evening the rains stopped and it turned into cloudless blue skies with beautiful sunshine. It was held outdoors and it was so moving and beautiful.

Morning MMC! A drizzly morning out there. As we now have some chilly weather here for the next 3 days for June. After that the warm-up begins, the a.c. goes up this weekend and then the heat hits finally with temps well into the 80s with humidity. Had a busy day at work so much I barely got to log on here. Hope everyone has a good day today!
