Such a sweet story about bringing Gracie home. Shed a few tears there. Lucy is so adorable, look at those eyes!

Awe - I've been shedding a few tears here & there all week. It's been "one of them weeks!"
Lucy is pretty darn cute! She's lucky! HA! We bought her a new puppy teething toy last night - bacon flavor. She seems to like it! xx Maybe that will help her to leave my ankles & toes alone. Ha ha!

Morning MMC! It's going to be mild again with a high of 80 under cloudy skies with the chance of thunderstorms later today. Seems like we're back to milder than average weather the last few days and continuing into next week. After last week's 4 day week today almost feels like it should be Friday. Not quite, but I'll take Friday Eve. Anyway, I'm looking forward to #100 coming up this weekend. And Rollins says Hi to everyone, by the way. Have a great day!

Warmer and more humid here, too... was hoping we were past that!!! I just want some nice autumn temps!!!

Lucy is good. She is so funny! Exploring everything. I don't want to wish her to get bigger, but I'm ready for her to get rid of those sharp little baby teeth that keep trying to bite my ankles & toes! Little booger!

I'm good too! This week seems a little hum-drum! We got Gracie's ashes back - it was just a tough day! But she got to ride with Jim in the UPS truck all day (he picked them up on his route) - she always wondered what he did all day! Now she's back home where she belongs!

Happy Thursday everyone!
Been a busy day so far. I ran a couple of quick errands and took my daughter to the doctor for a routine visit. It was actually her last visit with the pediatrician. She'll be switching over to our general physician now that she is 21. I tell you, I don't know where the years have gone. Anyway, I'm just having a quick cup of coffee and then I need to get started on my daily chores. My parents are coming to visit this afternoon. Dinner will be beef stew over egg noodles so I'll have to get started on that at some point.

Enjoy the visit with your parents!! Dinner sounds delicious!! We are still working on the pot roast I made on Tuesday! LOL Thankfully that's something I don't get tired of! Have a wonderful day!

Good Thursday midday! It's still full out Summer here. I've been cooking all morning for our apple-themed meal tomorrow and I'm still not finished (got a sweet potato-and-apple casserole and potato-and-apple latkes lef to do). We'll see if I have enough energy to complete these two dishes after work tonight at 10pm or tomorrow morning at 5am. Getting ready to head out to work. Have a great day everyone!

Happy Friday Eve ... Its been so muggy here the last couple days and its suppose to continue through the weekend. I can deal with the temps but man this mugginess has go to go. I want the nice cool crisp days Well lunch beak is almost over, have a great day.

Rollins will be 18 months on Sunday and still nibbles...he actually tried to nibble someone hard the other day at the park. I scolded him. He's usually friendly to strangers but I think the fact I picked him up to say Hi he felt intimidated.

My 103 year old great aunt passed away Tuesday. She spent her life fighting social injustice. As my youngest brother put it, "She lived her life by grit and guts." She was still killer sharp to the day she died. We can only hope we all reach the finish line in that condition.

So sorry for your loss. She sounds like a remarkable woman who made her mark on life.
