Egg nog not popular here so I am keeping an eye out for mulled wine to appear. So exciting! I am sure it won't be long for you!
What a mulled wine?

Rollins will be 18 months on Sunday and still nibbles...he actually tried to nibble someone hard the other day at the park. I scolded him. He's usually friendly to strangers but I think the fact I picked him up to say Hi he felt intimidated.
Rollins didn't mean to do it! :p It can take quite awhile for them to get over that nibble stage!

My 103 year old great aunt passed away Tuesday. She spent her life fighting social injustice. As my youngest brother put it, "She lived her life by grit and guts." She was still killer sharp to the day she died. We can only hope we all reach the finish line in that condition.
Bless her soul! Sounds like a great life! Sending thoughts & prayers your way - so sorry for your loss!

So here goes a little Christmassy babble for the day - when I was little (and also until today) my mom always had this Bayberry spray at her house. It was by Stanley. (remember Stanley products??) Anyway, a lot of times when I stay with Mom on the weekends I will spray a little bit of that in the room & it takes me back. THAT is a smell of Christmas to me! I remember we could only use it very sparingly!! (Hence the reason that same can is now 40 years old - but still smells amazing!!!) Mom probably was invited to a home Stanley party & wanted to buy SOMETHING - I'm sure she thought she paid way too much for it so we could rarely use it. But every time I would help put up her tree, I would spray the whole tree with it. Still do that today! ANYWAY - when I was there last weekend I thought "I wonder if they still make this stuff?" I jumped online & sure enough - there it was. I ordered a can & it arrived today. When I 1st sprayed it I thought "nope, they changed the scent a little" - but when I walked back in the house after letting Lucy out - there was that smell - the smell of Christmas at my parents. LOVE IT!!!! So
glad I found it! ♥♥
Ok, I'm done! ;) :p

LOL its been cooler here too but I am ready for that Cool Crisp air. I am over the warmth and especially the humidity.
We haven't had the humidity. My friend that lives about 3 1/2 hrs. East of here complains of their humidity daily. I keep asking her if we live in the same state. LOL

LOVE this Holiday, thanks for sharing <3

Good morning MMC ~
Merry Friday!
It's going to be cloudy today with temperatures in the upper 70's. I'm up a bit early, just having my coffee and relaxing before I start my day. I have to run a couple of errands this morning and then I'll be working on some chores around the house. I have a cardiologist appointment later this afternoon. It's my first time going, a routine visit. Heart disease runs in my Daddy's side of the family so I'm just trying to be proactive. That's about it for me. I'm going to pick up a pizza for the girls for dinner and I have a steak out for my hubby. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

TGIF! It's going to be partly cloudy here with a high of 80 but the chance of a few showers also. It's Friday guys and girls. We made it almost to the weekend. I certainly am glad it's Friday. It's been a fine week though...nothing terrible, not a crazy overloaded week either. But Friday alas is here and a more relaxing weekend is planned this week than last. Have to get in a bunch of those before the "crazy" time of year comes aka the holiday season. Hard to believe we're halfway through September today huh? And I hope you all are having a great Friday. What's the plans for the weekend?

Good Morning, Citizens of the Great MMC Nation, far and wide!

We are almost there.
Almost to another ** MILESTONE DAY **!
(We have but to wait just ONE more day.)

Days to the Season: 59
Days to Christmas Day: 101

And that "101" emphatically tells us that TOMORROW, we will arrive at the ONE HUNDRED DAY CHRISTMAS DAY Milestone marker and start a dual-level, double-digit count!
(Exciting times. They are almost here!)
And not only that, but the Blossoms thread is just around the corner.
(Well, maybe a couple of corners, but it's getting close.)
Whew! I really feel like the Season is closing in on us now!

The late summer heat has returned but the humidity remains in check and it did not feel too bad yesterday.
The same is predicted for today and it should be dry and sunny.
Our current temperature? Well, our thermometer says 65, and I have no reason to doubt its veracity.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And a Wondrous Weekend Eve, as well!
