Just saying hi to all my beautiful people. It was fallish now it's summery again. Suppose I can tolerate it a bit longer.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve! It's a dark & dreary morning here! I think the rain is supposed to be done, but it sure looks like rain out there. Maybe it will clear off! We have a high of 72 predicted for today ~ currently it's 60º & I walk in the office to find the AC on FULL BLAST! What the heck???


Well the fall decorating has begun! Everything is dusted, all of my decorations are unpacked. I got the light & garland on the banister, pumpkin lights in the front window, garland hung on the mantle, my pumpkin people are out/lit, pumpkins & lights are up on the bathroom shelf, a couple more pictures are up. The rest will have to wait until lunch &/or tonight. So exciting!!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I still have a thousand tree limbs to pickup, some so large I'll have to get the chainsaw after them. We've been so busy, I haven't had a chance to clean up. I bet the neighbors are wondering when I get to it LOL.

Once again, my father-in-law's store was the only store for 30 miles that had power after the storm cleared, so he got slammed with business. Nancy and I worked like dogs all afternoon, since he hadn't planned to be open and had no employees there. I didn't want to see another pizza after making almost 100 of them. Whew!

I have to catch up at work. I hope y'all have a great day!

Quick hello to everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. I hope the weather is calming down over the pond so those affected can begin to rebuild and recover. We had our first storm for the season here. Not very bad over my way though. Days of intense rain though. First day of sunlight in a long while today!

Enjoying mums final couple of weeks. Been really busy.

Egg nog not popular here so I am keeping an eye out for mulled wine to appear. So exciting! I am sure it won't be long for you!

My favorite seasonal wine is BACK!!! So excited!



This year they have a new Wintery Nights available in cranberry flavor. I can't imagine liking it better, but I'll try!

Lucy is good. She is so funny! Exploring everything. I don't want to wish her to get bigger, but I'm ready for her to get rid of those sharp little baby teeth that keep trying to bite my ankles & toes! Little booger!

I'm good too! This week seems a little hum-drum! We got Gracie's ashes back - it was just a tough day! But she got to ride with Jim in the UPS truck all day (he picked them up on his route) - she always wondered what he did all day! Now she's back home where she belongs!

Merry Friday Eve!! Last night I had middle school open house and tonight I have high school open house. Looks like it will be a pretty cloudy day but I am just working anyway so that is fine with me. The warmth has returned with the sun, as Mother Nature reminds us that summer is still here, despite a wet, cooling visit by the fringes of a hurricane.
It should be nice now for the remainder of the week, and this writer, for one, is quite happy with that situation!

Good afternoon, everyone!

I can't stay long. The bell is about to ring and I should be heading to class. We're one day away from the weekend and only two days away from that special 100-day Milestone! Woohoo!

The weather remains beautiful here. Temperatures could reach the mid-30s/lower 90s with humidex today. Are we really just over a week away from the first day of Fall - apparently, it starts on the 22nd? Well, here comes the bell. Time to teach some English, Foods, and then back to English today. I think I'm looking forward to lunch the most! Actually, I shouldn't say that... my afternoon classes should be fun!

Brent, every year about this time, "Halloween Zone" moves into whatever space happens to be empty.
There are several open areas right now, but no sign of HZ, yet.
Then, for the last few years, A Christmas To Remember has moved into HZ's space as soon as they move out.

I very much doubt that will change and don't think ACTR will be into the mall in time for the Blossoms thread lauch late this month. But not to worry! I have several Christmas photos from Hallmark and from the Neuse Sport Shop on our way to the beach to use.

Last year we didn't have much color at all. I'm hoping for some beautiful foliage this year. We had plenty of rain early in the season & then we dried up, so I guess we'll see! I hope you get some beautiful scenery too! xx
