Thanks. The funeral was today, and was one of the largest I've ever seen. She obviously touched a lot of lives in the town where she lived.
My heart goes out to her kids as well.
Morning MMC! It's going to be mild again with a high of 80 under cloudy skies with the chance of thunderstorms later today. Seems like we're back to milder than average weather the last few days and continuing into next week. After last week's 4 day week today almost feels like it should be Friday. Not quite, but I'll take Friday Eve. Anyway, I'm looking forward to #100 coming up this weekend. And Rollins says Hi to everyone, by the way. Have a great day!
I can't wait until it's Friday, this is a long week. And since I'm not working this weekend, I wrote "100 days 'til Christmas" on the employee break schedule. Leaving my "signature"

In fact, one will arrive THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!

Glad you asked, because it's an important one -- the 100-day Christmas Day Window in fact, which will be followed immediately by a double double-digit count.
(Starting to feel excited, yet?)
The warmth has returned with the sun, as Mother Nature reminds us that summer is still here, despite a wet, cooling visit by the fringes of a hurricane.
It should be nice now for the remainder of the week, and this writer, for one, is quite happy with that situation!
We stand just under 70 degrees here at this hour.

And can you believe it will be Weekend Eve again tomorrow?

Hi! You have been on my mind lately. I seem to recall you living in Florida. I might be mistaken. Anyway I hope you all got through the hurricane alright ??? Can't imagine what you must have been through.Thank you HomemakinGirl.Our house is okay and we're all accounted for. Have cell and power back. We feel very fortunate. Many others around us are not as lucky. We're in Lakeland and were in path of the eye of the storm. Now just pitching in and helping where we can.

I still have a thousand tree limbs to pickup, some so large I'll have to get the chainsaw after them. We've been so busy, I haven't had a chance to clean up. I bet the neighbors are wondering when I get to it LOL.
Once again, my father-in-law's store was the only store for 30 miles that had power after the storm cleared, so he got slammed with business. Nancy and I worked like dogs all afternoon, since he hadn't planned to be open and had no employees there. I didn't want to see another pizza after making almost 100 of them. Whew!
I have to catch up at work. I hope y'all have a great day!

Quick hello to everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. I hope the weather is calming down over the pond so those affected can begin to rebuild and recover. We had our first storm for the season here. Not very bad over my way though. Days of intense rain though. First day of sunlight in a long while today!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve! It's a dark & dreary morning here! I think the rain is supposed to be done, but it sure looks like rain out there. Maybe it will clear off! We have a high of 72 predicted for today ~ currently it's 60º & I walk in the office to find the AC on FULL BLAST this morning! What the heck???
Well the fall decorating has begun! Everything is dusted, all of my decorations are unpacked. I got the light & garland on the banister, pumpkin lights in the front window, garland hung on the mantle, my pumpkin people are out/lit, pumpkins & lights are up on the bathroom shelf, a couple more pictures are up. The rest will have to wait until lunch &/or tonight. So exciting!!
