Rollins didn't mean to do it!Rollins will be 18 months on Sunday and still nibbles...he actually tried to nibble someone hard the other day at the park. I scolded him. He's usually friendly to strangers but I think the fact I picked him up to say Hi he felt intimidated.
Bless her soul! Sounds like a great life! Sending thoughts & prayers your way - so sorry for your loss!My 103 year old great aunt passed away Tuesday. She spent her life fighting social injustice. As my youngest brother put it, "She lived her life by grit and guts." She was still killer sharp to the day she died. We can only hope we all reach the finish line in that condition.
LOL its been cooler here too but I am ready for that Cool Crisp air. I am over the warmth and especially the humidity.Hope you get the cool down you are hoping for. As for me, I'm looking forward to a warm up the next couple days & hopefully another trip out on the lake!! Been unseasonably cool here!
We haven't had the humidity. My friend that lives about 3 1/2 hrs. East of here complains of their humidity daily. I keep asking her if we live in the same state. LOLLOL its been cooler here too but I am ready for that Cool Crisp air. I am over the warmth and especially the humidity.
So here goes a little Christmassy babble for the day - when I was little (and also until today) my mom always had this Bayberry spray at her house. It was by Stanley. (remember Stanley products??) Anyway, a lot of times when I stay with Mom on the weekends I will spray a little bit of that in the room & it takes me back. THAT is a smell of Christmas to me! I remember we could only use it very sparingly!! (Hence the reason that same can is now 40 years old - but still smells amazing!!!) Mom probably was invited to a home Stanley party & wanted to buy SOMETHING - I'm sure she thought she paid way too much for it so we could rarely use it. But every time I would help put up her tree, I would spray the whole tree with it. Still do that today! ANYWAY - when I was there last weekend I thought "I wonder if they still make this stuff?" I jumped online & sure enough - there it was. I ordered a can & it arrived today. When I 1st sprayed it I thought "nope, they changed the scent a little" - but when I walked back in the house after letting Lucy out - there was that smell - the smell of Christmas at my parents. LOVE IT!!!! So
glad I found it! ♥♥
Ok, I'm done!![]()
