Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good afternoon. Well I think Mother nature got her calendar days mixed up. Had a lot of cool 70ish degree temps in August and this week a lot of 80+ temps and pushing close to 90 this weekend. UGH I am so over this heat and humidity. Bring back the cooler crisp fall temps please.... Started picking up some new Halloween decorations for the front porch. We are going to wait until the 1st week in Oct to decorate, not sure what is going on with these storms but I wish they would just stay fish storms and not touch any land mass. Seeing a of houses in my area decorated for fall and Halloween ... such happy sights to see. Have a great day.

Good morning Merry. Mine is beginning with some minor irritation with the area around my left eye and ear. May not be anything more than a simple bug, I'll see what happens. Not much trouble in the way of sleeping. But a warm shower and a light meal seems to help me when I have those problems. I'm sure part of it is contained in the aging process. Nice to hear you are getting things ready for the Christmas music time. I can't wait to take my portable CD player under the tree and hear the music coming from there...

I hope that irritation turns out to be nothing and disappears quickly.
Speaking of irritation, it looks like it may be another late-running workday today ... rats. Haven't had a decent dinner yet this week.

Sometimes I just cant stand to turn on the news. This whole ordeal about this kid getting to mow the whitehouse lawn and meet the president is insane. I cant tell you the last time I had a teen ask to mow my yard.

Happy Pines Day!! I am getting on here late today. I had a few things to handle for work. Just work for me today and my daughter has a soccer game so I will go to that later, otherwise should be a quiet day. I am hoping that Maria stays far away from the east coast and I cannot believe how warm it will be this weekend. We may head to the beach on Sunday. Hope you all have a great day!

Lol..I heard one say something about Child Labor, another said he discriminated because it wasnt a female. Another says how dangerous mowing is for a 11 year old...lol. I guess they never want to hear the farm equipment I operated alone at 11 yrs old.

LOL well I guess they wouldn't like us either .. our kids started mowing the grass when they were 9 of course we were there to supervise but how else are kids are suppose to learn and now its part of their chores.

I want my fall back!!!!

Agree we are now slated for high 80s to almost 90 on Monday and nothing below 78 through next Friday. The amazing thing is that every time I look at the forecast it goes up! This weekend about 6 days ago had a forecast for both days 77. It is now 85 Saturday, 87 Sunday, 88 Monday and 84 Tuesday and at this rate those figures are likely to up further.
