I saw a Snicker Bar avalanche in the Halloween aisle today!!
As long as I don't leave work and it's dark already then I'm ok with it lol.By the mid to end of October it's getting dark plenty early for me!
I don't mind it in Nov/Dec because then you start seeing people's Christmas lights on and it kind of adds to the aura of the holiday season. Would be weird if it was light out till 7 or 8 PM during the holidays.
I can totally relate to that! And there are nights my hubby doesn't get home from work until 9:00 or later & by then I'm already cozy on the couch & he's like "what the heck??" LOL
The leaves are really starting to fall .. this morning I noticed a lot of dried leaves all over yards and streets in my neighborhood. I don't know why but I love the sound of crunching leaves 
Temps will finally drop tonight as a cold front moves through then we will have more seasonable temps!!! YAY!!! Hoping to be able to shut that AC off until next summer. Seeing more and more signs of Christmas popping up in the stores .. not long now have a great day!

I like some daylight hours at home after work!
It's usually not too big of an issue until after the time change & a couple months after.

I only like the snow months!! I think a new edition is making its way into my garage and I better not have to travel to Canada to find snow to ride it.I like some daylight hours at home after work!

Our cold front moves in tomorrow...it feels like a mid-August day out there now. Then I heard we might be back in the 80's next week. I am ready for fall!

Yeah, it's going to be cold too. Luckily they have some heaters.
It looks like it had an oil fired boiler with radiators for heat. The oil tank is still in the basement but the rest has been ripped out.
(((Hugs))) I understand how you must feel. It is indeed a tough thing seeing your parent like that. I pray for her good days to outnumber those bad ones.Morning Festive! Mom is doing ok. Good days, bad days. She has a blank stare a lot more often. Her memory is definitely declining / confusion.
We have 2 Amish sisters staying with mom now. They take turns coming every other week. There is also another Amish girl who comes when the sisters are busy. They are all very nice & they are good with mom, but they're no Emma!

Morning! Hope everyone is well. We continue with the warm temps even though we had a lot of rain over night. It has cleared up now though. Took the kittens to the vet yesterday. They relapsed into their cold even with antibiotics. SO they are on a second course of treatment now. Hoping this gets rid of it and it is not cat flu. They need to be better so they can get their vaccines.

Morning MMC! It's going to be beautiful today sunny and a high of 74. Humidity is dropping as we speak. Looks like a cool weekend and then a warm-up next week. It seems like in Fall it takes longer to cool off than it used to and spring it takes longer to warm up than it used to. Weird but I definitely notice that the last many years. 8 weeks from today is Thanksgiving. Let that sink in. But I just wanna say that Blossoms thread is great just another sign of the season to come. But I'm looking at something a little closer right now...the weekend. Have a great day!

It's going to be mostly sunny today with highs near 77 degrees. Not too much going on, just errands, chores and lunch with mom. We may stop at Barnes & Noble as well, I want to pick up a wedding planner book for my daughter. She's been so busy with her new job, I'm sure the book will help her feel organized. That's about it for me.
