Christmas Countdown - 2018

Happy Friday MMC!! Another work week almost done...
We don't have any plans for the weekend except for a basketball game tomorrow morning but that is fine with me. They are forecasting 5-8 inches of snow for tomorrow night...we'll see.
The 2 houses on my road are still lit up and last night I had to bring home one of my daughter's friends and her neighbor had his front tree all lit up with red and green bulbs, it looked so pretty!

Good Friday morning MMC! TGIF! It's another dreary ol morning here, but it's Friday so all is good!

It will be work for me this morning, a stop at moms, then home to fry 5 lbs. of burger with taco seasoning mix & make a Swiss Roll Cake. I picked up fresh salsa from the Mexican restaurant last night for the Haystacks tomorrow. It's hard to keep out of that yummy stuff! (I did pick up an extra container, just incase ) I'll start on cleaning tonight, tomorrow morning I'll get started on a couple loaves of homemade bread, finish up cleaning...and then let the party begin!! I have my snoopy Christmas t-shirt out already!

Good afternoon MMC ~
I didn’t get a chance to pop in this morning, I woke up with a migraine. Thankfully it passed. Rocky also had an early veterinarian appointment. All is well and he gained more weight, he’s up to 3.3 pounds! The poor thing got a couple of shots and was exhausted by the time we got home. He fell asleep so I decided to run to Walmart to pick up a few things. I’m just having a quick cup of coffee before I start working on some chores around the house and start dinner. I’m making meatball Parmesan heroes and a big tossed salad. I hope everyone is having a nice day so far!!!

It’s a late night for me, that’s for sure. I’m usually a bed sticker this time at night. The problem is that I took a nap between 7-9 and it’s got my schedule all thrown off the tracks! I’m going to be feeling it tomorrow morning, that’s for sure.

Well looks like they (National Weather Service) are increasing the snowfall amount predicted for this area from 2-4 inches to 3-6 inches starting Saturday night. Yea baby, keep on climbing!!!

Morning MMC. Happy TGIF! Whoever has Monday off I guess you have a 3 day weekend huh? We are forecast to have 3-6 inches of snow Saturday night. We'll see if it really happens after being 60 degrees yesterday. Either way it will melt fast with mild weather all week next week. Anyway, my daily report yes the 2 houses are both still lit. 5 for 5 this week. I'm wondering if either one will be next week still. Have a good TGIF!!!

Weather is crazy! We still have rain & snow predicted for tomorrow!
I'm not one of them lucky ones to have a 3 day weekend! I love that there are still houses lit. Good for them keeping that Christmas spirit alive!!

Merry Friday MMC ~
We’re expecting periods of light rain today with highs near 53 degrees. Not too much going on, I have to run a couple of errands this morning and I’ll be working on the laundry. The girls are all off, we’re going to do some shopping this afternoon and order pizza for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's a beautiful start to the day, almost 70°F outside and sunshine. It's supposed to be 80° for the next 10 days at least. What happened to winter?!

My great uncle passed away this week, and his funeral is tomorrow. He lived just down the road from my mom's, but we were never really close. He's the last of my grandfather's immediate family, at 97 years old. He was driving up until last year, too! He was actually a WWII vet, and was at the Normandy invasion, where he was wounded and received the Purple Heart. It's very interesting, but he was sort of standoffish, so we saw each other and spoke only in passing. Bless his heart.

Lunch with mom and Jim today.

Awe, sorry to hear about your great uncle. Bless his heart indeed. May he rest in peace. Sounds like he lived a pretty amazing life!

Good Friday morning! Another day with grey skies and mild temperatures and I'm ok with that cause I'm over Winter, thoughI know it's not over yet. I have an appointment this morning and will do a bit of grocery shopping and then I'll settle in to watch the olympics men's figure skating short program on dvr. I only made it through 6 skaters before going to bed early last night. With the mild temps, squirrels have been coming to our balcony to look through our planters, where they likely hid some foods. Loki is having none of it. Adorable to watch him try to defend his balcony. Anyway have a great day everyone!

Thank You. Well....., the alarms went off, We both shut them off and we went back to sleep. Needless to say, we both overslept, we were both late for work and now that I am here at work, I don't feel like being here, nor doing anything, nor do I even want to think about work.

I think I'll just hang out on MMC, think about the snow that they are calling for starting tomorrow night. They have now increased the snowfall total up to 4-7 inches with possible higher amounts. I'm getting this information from the National Weather Service.

I also look at this website, this meteorologist is really good and his track record is way up there also for predicting weather events; justinweather.com.

This dreary weather is terrible..makes me feel so lazy.
My Leo is a squirrel and chipmunk hunter...he goes crazy when they are outside...Andre on the other hand is not that smartest bulb so half the time I am not sure he knows they are there...lol

I just went to Walmart without a coat!! In short sleeves!!! Lol!!!

I wore my winter jacket, this morning, instead of the long, heavy coat, because it only went down to the zero degree mark, last night.
