Christmas Countdown - 2018

Looks like many of us have the same idea for tonight: watching a movie. Planned for us: Wonder Woman.

Happy Saturday! My husband’s car broke down yesterday afternoon so it is now in the shop. He has to work today for a few hours so I am homebound but that is ok..I have some laundry and cleaning to catch up on anyway.
Looks like they are saying 5-8 inches for tonight so we will stay in and watch a movie. Looks like all the snow will be gone next week! Hope you have a great day!

Hope they find what is wrong with your husband's car quickly and that it won't be too costly.

Still suffering with a cold ... makes me feel so run down. Happily, it's a holiday weekend! We get to start our Saturday with this year's tax prep appointment. A few inches of snow are expected overnight. Sounds like a great setup for a movie night!

It’s snowing! It’s beautiful. A very steady, wet snow, that is sticking to everything. I went out and picked up some carry out tonight and there’s like three inches out there already. They have us slated for 5-9 inches tonight into tomorrow morning.

With the winter storm warning in effect right now, looks like it’s going to be a laptop/ tv night tonight.

The Mrs looks like she’s in for the night, she has her pillows all propped up, heating blanket all wrapped around her, the kitten is asleep on the blanket, QVC shoes with Jane on tv. So, I know what she has plans for tonight, lol.

Oh my goodness, I’m so totally loving this, I went out and got a pizza a little bit ago, (any excuse to take the truck out in the snow) lol. It’s a heavy, wet snow to boot, so it is sticking to everything. Looks beautiful. I keep looking out the window to watch it.

Morning MMC. We received 7 inches of snow overnight. It came down fast and furious. But the roads are clean and the snow will melt starting today. It looks like Christmas outside. Love seeing it. Hope you all have a great Sunday today!

We had a light dusting of snow today, but it's only 0C (32F) so I don't think it will last. Later this week it will be around 11C (mid 50sF) so it's melting fast. Seven weeks into the new year and it's keeps flying by. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Rain, rain, go away....

We've experienced rain and more rain....and there is more rain coming. There is rain in the forecast for the next 12 days. Cabin fever is a real thing, y'all. I just want spring and warmer/dryer weather. The thought of getting outside and playing sounds like so much fun! Doesn't look possible...not until March, at least.

Going to be a busy week. We are having a regional basketball tourney at our place. Our team is 26-0 and ranked #1 in the state for our classification. Having the tourney at our place (for the first time in 16 years) is going to be a blast, but a lot of work. I can hardly wait.

Merry Sunday!

We got a light dusting of snow overnight. The sun is out and the forecast is calling for the low 40s later today. Rain starts tomorrow and according to one station, it is looking like anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 inches total. It isn't ice so I'm happy!

Good morning! We did get a good, heavy wet snow last night; I would say about 6-7 inches at least. It was the kind to where it stuck to everything, every branch in the trees, etc.. I got up this morning and it looked like a winter wonderland outside. But as of right now, the sun has been shining brightly all morning, and it feels really warm coming thru the windows. The snow is really melting big time right now, its running off the roof like a stream.
