Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good Morning, friends~

Merry Friday Eve!!

It’s a nice, cool morning outside. 55 degrees currently, with highs in the low 70’s. Love it. It will warm up starting tomorrow, and stay hot and humid for awhile.

Today is Adi’s Birthday, we’ll celebrate a little tonight, and more over the weekend with friends.

Otherwise, a normal day ahead. A few meetings, work, and will try to get started on some continued education for real estate.

Harlowe & Jazzie are doing pretty well, thankfully. Fingers crossed that it continues.

The vet called about an hour ago & said Lucy (actually, he called her Gracie ) is out of surgery. All went well & she was waking from the anesthesia! Whew! What a relief!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Good Evening!
I can't believe we are in August! Jooohooo!
The Bers are knocking on the door

My first born moved out yesterday, ready for college
I miss her already ♥
Luckily she is only a 30 minutes drive away!
But our house feels so empty without her here ♥

Yesterday's goodbye for my oldest and my youngest child:

So how is everything here? Still warm?
The temp. has dropped here FINALLY
Now we are expecting cloudy, rainy days ahead and temps from 57 to 64 degrees

We had weeks with high temps up to 94 degrees, so hot
We Norwegians dont have AC in our houses, so its impossible to sleep
But will this continue we have to install AC!

Now, I am ready for Autumn ♥

Yes, it is! So why do dogs like it??? BLAH!!! I'll pick up as much as I can (with a pooper scooper) & then hopefully she will wear her onesie so she doesn't have to wear the cone of shame....and that will also keep the pooh off of her incision! She will look so cute & pathetic in the onesie though too!! LOL

I would never laugh at her!!!
I know - it's so hard to not laugh at them, even though they look so pathetic!!! Gracie never needed one. We'll see how this goes!

We should have a nice time this evening- and this weekend I am taking him to a great restaurant in a town nearby. It's in a historic building, local legends say that it's haunted. The chef is amazing, and it's fun to hear the owner talk about the history of the property. It'll be his first time there!

Oh my goodness! That is such a sweet and tender moment captured on film. It makes my heart feel sad for you youngest.

I wish your oldest all the luck in the world. I remember when my youngest went away to college, after I dropped her off, her dad had tears running down his cheeks.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve! This is actually my Friday! YAY!! I wish it were for different reasons, but still nice to be off tomorrow. My Lu went in this morning to be spayed. I'll be able to pick her up tomorrow morning. They are supposed to call when she is out of surgery. She had the zoomies this morning ~ I told my hubby she won't have zoomies in a few hours!! Poor girl!

Just work for me today. Then I have some stuff to get done at home & then I'll be heading to the lake!! Hoping to spend the whole weekend there, pending how Lubug is doing!
