I have a tough time recommending stuff, though, as I feel like I had to immediately not include anyone that has paid to advertise, which isn't fair to them, but it seems less ethical to not do that
Plus I feel it is more important during that time to be focused on listeners and site visitors

What kind of feedback do you get from those who tune in?
For the most part, I don't know a lot about who listens. I know in December, many play us where they work. I hear that a lot.
Other than requests, often for things I don't play, I usually get simple, kind messages that they enjoy what I'm doing. Which really makes it all worthwhile.
You must be doing something right. You have been doing it for so long!
I hope that going forward we can do more to bring listeners to Sounds of Christmas year round
And that we can help in someway in the good work you do
in bringing new and creative Christmas music to us

It's a tricky thing, getting listeners outside of the traditional season. For some reason, it makes a lot of people angry to even think about Christmas at other times of year. Which boggles me.
