cheesy Thanks, Speedy Elf. I'm waiting for some winter shots with blue sky. It's been overcast here for days - most of last week.

:hello: Quite welcome, Crown!

Beautiful picture, Jeff! I'll see what I can do about sending some snow your way.

Gorgeous pics! Love the Temple... we got snow on Black Friday, it was perfect to start the shopping season. However several lives were lost that night due to the roads :(

You can see my Christmas pics of this year in my siggy. I finally got it up :D

More decorations for your enjoyment.

1) Macy's uses mirrors to enhance their hanging garlands.

2) Another gorgeous lamppost!

Great pics Crown. There's something very old London and Charles
Dickens like with lamposts. I've always loved seeing them decorated
like those you posted in the last picture.

Speaking of Dickensonian London, just a couple of days ago, there was a quartet of carolers strolling through the mall dressed in 19th Century outfits.
Wish I had had my camera with me!

The mall, in all it's Christmas splendor!
Crabtree has long done an excellent job with its decorations.
(And we have the REAL Santa, too!)

Christmas is everywhere now, folks.
Get those cameras snappin' and let's see those photos.
Gotta keep that Christmas Spirit up!
(I know you can do it!)

A couple from our visit to the Farmer's Market two weekends back.

A forest of Christmas Trees for sale.
(The photo does not do it justice - there were hundreds of them!)

I don't have anymore Christmas decorations to share just yet.

Thanks for offering more to our wondering eyes, Crown! Love what you did with dad's house! Beautiful!

Check this out. The first day of winter and we've had snow much longer than today.

One of my favourite trees - shouting “winter is here”!

It's been blustery today. Brrrrrrrrrr! I know we're not the only ones suffering from the cold and snow storms and then there are those who have no White Christmases - go ahead and grab a look at my winter wonderland any time you feel you need a bit of snow.

Festive Regards,
A. Mistletoe

And my personal favourite!

Great Photos! Thanks, Auntie.

Here is my final photo - a 35-40 foot tall Christmas Tree located at a different (outdoor) mall here in Raleigh, "North Hills":

My thanks to all who contributed to this thread, whether by photo or comment. Hopefully, it has spread some additional Christmas cheer.

I'm looking forward to the next addition, to be launched in about 9 months!

(Of course, if anyone still has any Christmas-related 2008 photos they would like to add, please feel free to do so at any time.)

- Crown
