Merry Christmas Everyone!!! Christmas Eve was beautifull....even tho Kandice is sick...We´ve been to church...and she was an angel...then at my grandma´s for an hour....We sang Silent Night...and I held her in my arms...and held my grandma´s hand....My Grandmother gave the nicest present to my grandfather.....She went to jewelry shop....to clean and polish and buy a new necklace..........When my grandfather opened his presents....tears came down his face.......It was Grandma´s first wedding ring he bought...60 years ago....

I'm the only one up. (My kids are all grown, so they don't get up early anymore on Christmas.)
I have my coffee, the wassail is simmering and I'm just relaxing before we open gifts, then start dinner, etc etc etc.
My son and his wife and kids were here last night and played Wii and then opened gifts. They stay home on Christmas. (But I do have 2 other sons and my daughter here and my step-daughter will come later on today to open her gifts and then go off to her boyfriend's family's home.)
I hope today is all you've dreamed it would be!

I hope you are all enjoying these days of Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with my family at my parents. Was a packed house ~ lots of laughs!! It went too fast ~ can't believe I have to wait a whole nother year for Christmas Eve again!!! But I'm already excited to get started on the new countdown! :-D We are off to my in-laws later today for more Christmas cheer!!!

This has been a really great season. My son Matthew, returned home from Iraq (with all ten fingers and all ten toes), and on the way home he married the sweetest girl in the neighborhood. So I got a son and a daughter (inlaw) for Christmas. All the other presents pale by comparison.
We have lots of snow here in Chicago, 15 degrees, and lots of sun. A perfect day.
Well, we are off to pick up Grandma Eagle and head out to my sister's house for Christmas dinner.
My prayer is for everyone to have and enjoy all the joy and blessings of Christmas.

1.Christmas Day and Christmas Eve are over....tomorrow is our last day of Christmas (in Germany it´s Christmas Eve....1.Christmas Day and 2nd Christmas Day)....so I´m looking forward to another day of good food...time with family and some more presents...

still celebrating....just getting ready for the day....my father, brother and his family (wife and two kids) and my mom are coming for dinner (lunch), presents and spending time...looking forward to it
