Naturally, I will be there to serve... hmmm what can I serve... drawing a blank here....
Fired Twinkies, perhaps?

YAAAAWN!! I'll try to be up in time for the game, Dom.
But then again, with it being Super Sunday/Super Sized Day, I'll just have to try out a super-king-sized mattress at the Sleep Number store.

Days to the Season: 284
Days to Christmas Day: 326
We are but another step closer to our next (25%) milestone, now a mere 10 days away. Time's a flyin'!

Another sunny morning here in Raleigh, the "City of Oaks".
It's a pretty nice 48 outside at this hour and is supposed to reach the mid to upper 60's by this afternoon. Beautiful!

Well, none of the teams I follow made it to the Super Bowl, but I'll still watch the game, of course. I also predict a New England victory - this is just their year to make history and I don't think they will be denied.

Have a "Super" Sunday, all. (That certainly works out well for today, doesn't it?)
We begin moving another week closer to the Season, tomorrow!

Good morning good people...First off, let's not write the Giants off completely...This game is the Patriots game to lose, they have all the pressure. The Giants are playing better than they have in years, and they will NOT go down without a serious business fight. Hopefully this will be a good game unlike the Super Bowls of days gone by that begin as a blow out and end with humiliation for the losing team...I predict a close game, a choke by the Pats in the third quarter and a win for the Giants by 3 points...

Now, dear Binger, there are not alot of dance fans at the house where I'm going to watch the game. So I'll not be able to where my brand new, larger sized blue and red tights. But I'll have them on in spirit! And if I have a moment where no one is looking, perhaps I can strike a pose...Vogue...vogue...Vogue...Everybody's doin' a brand new dance now...C'mon baby, do the locomotion...I saw the Grand Funk boys a few weeks ago...And while only two of the members are original, it was a fun show with tons of energy...Little Eva would have been proud...

A great Sunday to all!!! Enjoy the game, drink lot's of coffee, eat lots of chips and have the Alka Seltzer ready before bed!

Here's a shot from the last Super Bowl I watched.

Oh, no that be the first one. Silly me.

I'm on the web listening to Thayrone and the BCMS, whilst O'Malley the cat watches the game.

My husband picked the Patriots wayyy back so I'll go with him on that one.

I do like a few surprises in sports though, it makes it more interesting.

cheesy I'd watch the game, but I forgot to pick up snacks and game without snacks just isn't the same.

Back to work tomorrow. Where did the weekend go?

I believe if you look at my previous post you will see a prediction of the Giants by three...

In the words of Elvis...Thankyou...Thankyouverymuch...

Morning all!

I trust you all had a 'super' sunday? Anybody here a NASCAR fan? I'm getting a new channel added to my cable here in the uk called NASN (North American Sports Network - owned by ESPN) so I will be able to watch NASCAR, basketball and hockey! Can't wait!

Anyhoo, finally had some good news on the house move, we exchanged contracts on Friday, and we have a confirmed move date of the 14th! (valentines day!) which is also a day before the next milestone I believe?! So lots to do this week with changing addresses for everthing under the sun, organise moving my cable tv, phone and broadband accounts and of course the joy of packing!

Its funny, last night was the first Sunday night in ages that I didnt mind it being over and the weekend done...after all, another day closer to moving house!

Right, enough waffle from me... hope you all have a great and groovy Monday!

Scoobie

You dah man, Jayish!

Good Morning, all!
The Marvelous Monday after Super Sunday.
It's a bright, sunny day - an excellent start for moving another week closer to that certain Season we are all here about.

Days to the Season: 283
Days to Christmas Day: 325

Well, it looks like another busy Monday at the office, so I had best get started! See you later!

Good Morning Friends!
Went to bed early last night and have been up since 5am. Looked outside and noticed we had a skiff of snow and it's still snowing lightly out there. I just got little ones lunch all together for school, and a corned beef put into the crockpot for dinner this evening. Today is my daughter's 100th day of school. They will be making a 'soup' and she needs to bring 100 mini marshmellows...should be a fun day for the kids. I believe their last day of school is at the end of May. Before you know it summer will be here and I will be back to work full force. I plan to get my daughter back into swim lessons again. And also considering coaching T-Ball..did it last year with the kids and it was a blast! Can you tell I have warm weather on my mind? *L* I hope you all had a good time watching the game yesterday. I will now finish my coffee and get ready to start my day. Have a wonderful Monday all. Oh yes I almost forgot my Aunt and Uncle who live in Idaho sent me pictures of the snow storm that had hit there. I will post some pictures later today. So glad it missed me here in Montana...*L

I admit it's the latest & greatest commercials that keep me watching the Super Bowl. That Audi R8 ad - the play on the iconic scene in the 'Godfather'..where Moe Green wakes up to find a "Rolls Royce" grill in his bed..brilliant! "putting Old Luxury on hold" ! OMG...( I also liked the comb-over guy in the pepsi ad!!)

Tom Petty rocked! Yeah!! Pounds of potato chips consumed: 12 million!! (Sorry Mom.)

Hey Annette, now a corned beef in the crock-pot sounds yum!

Good Morning my friends....another Monday...another day closer to spring. Has anyone else noticed how the days are getting longer?? Well...Alrighty Then!

YABBA!!!!

~Hey! Where's that girl Holiday? ....wonder if she finally got snowed under?

:snowball:

Here I am!! :D

Wow Jayish...how'd ya do it?? What a game!!! I thought for sure it was going to end up in overtime! 12 million pounds of tater chips?? That's a lotta chips! I didn't contribute to the tater chip eating, but we had chili & jalapeno bottlecaps & hot dogs & dear summer sausage.... YUMMY!!! (NO, I didn't eat ALL that stuff...lol, but it was available to eat)

Scoobie, we love Nascar! (well, I use to love it...it's changed so much, we aren't quite as into it as we use to be, but still keep up on it!) We're counting down the "days to green!" Will be odd to see Kasey Kahne in the #9 Budweiser! Got my hubby a KK #9 Budweiser shirt for Christmas w/ a "Born On Date, Feb. 8, 2008" Can't wait!!! :)

Have a good Monday! (one day closer to FRIDAY!!)

I have connections...You know...I know a guy...

Just a lucky guess...Wish I'd had money on the game to back up my lucky guess...could've made some real bucks with a twelve point spread!!! Ooh well...That's me...A day late and a dollar short...How's the snow???

Morning...Superbowl Sunday...anyone watching the game or having a little party of their own?
Patriots win this one 38-24.
Holiday, why did you go out if it was that bad? Sounds like every person you know was out in an ice storm and either falling or hitting into something...and doesn't schools cancel basketball games in bad storms there?
Well hopefully everyone enjoys the superbowl...the Christmas of football.

Dom...the roads were fine early in the night, but as the night went on, they got slick in spots. The parking lots were all slick. Just have to be careful! Stay home??? HECK NO!!!!!

I believe if you look at my previous post you will see a prediction of the Giants by three...

In the words of Elvis...Thankyou...Thankyouverymuch...

Hip-Hip!Hurrah!

I concede to the gentleman from New Jersey. My last words before "goodnight honey" were "Jay was right!"

:hello: Happy Monday, Y'all!

And as a man, dear Auntie, I never grow tired of hearing that!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night...

........And to all a Good Morning!.......A Terrific Tuesday Morning!

Days to the Season: 282
Days to Christmas Day: 324

It's a damp one out there, with fog.
Mist on my windshield this morning but no ice (kind of unlikely with the temp at 50)
It promises to be an incredible day, with the high predicted to be 76. (76?? In February???)

We are now but 9 days - single digits! - to our 2nd Season milestone, the one-quarter mark. Wow!
