good morning fellas...weather is getting a bit better. been at some friend´s garden yesterday and Kandice rode her bike all the way there and back...she was very proud of herself!

painting day! At long last my bathroom is getting repainted. Earlier the walls where scrubbed, old wallpaper trim removed, holes filled and chips scraped. Hope to get it all done today (1st coat anyway)

hope U will get it done as soon as possible....as exiting it is to redo the house...it´s always a relief when it´s done

Another overcast one here in Raleigh at this hour where we stand at 72.
Lots of on-again-off-again rain predicted for most of this week.
(We could use the moisture, however.)
Another week is here, which brings the count down to:
Days to the Season: 116
Days to Christmas Day:158
Wow. Day after tomorrow, only 2 weeks to the 100-Day Season window.
It just doesn't seem possible we could be so close to double-digit territory!

Can't believe it's Monday aready.....Spent yesterday afternoon relaxing with the family in my father-in-laws pool. Its was nice. RJ learned how to keep himself afloat with the help of arm floaties. The kids had a blast. After we got home I night made M&M cookies with Jade. Made for such a nice day!

Well the weekend seemed to fly by. I spent most of it babysitting my 15 month old niece while my sister and brother in law took my other niece to see taylor swift in concert. I can't believe how fast this year is flying by. Hope everyne has a GREAT DAY!!!!
Same here in Fayetteville just south of you. After an amazing spring, the first day of summer brought low rainfall totals that are still not recovering. All the crops looked bumper three weeks ago, now some are getting dry. Hopefully some good rain this week.
Good afternoon Christmas friends! Hope you all had a great weekend! It was a cool one here - highs in the low 70's & lows in the low 50's! BRRRRR! That's cold for July! Saturday I just wanted to curl up with a Christmas movie, but that didn't happen. We were at the lake & I didn't have any movies with me! Next time! :smile:

hi all...this might be my last post for a few days...maybe till saturday or sunday...going to a meeting....taking computer, but don't know if i can get access to internet there.....gawsh i hope so...looking forward to the meetings...should be really good...when i get back (saturday), i will have one week until it's time to start planning....yipee!!!

Well then my friend, you are surely looking forward to our meeting at the Shispering Pines tomorrow to enjoy the peak-of-the-week view with a tall, cool one of the sweetest southern tea this side of heaven.
That to accompany a fired twinkie or two and perhaps a Mauradio Sugar Cookie while watching Binger do handsprings on the back lawn after their 39th cup of coffee.

We are again overcast here with rain predicted for most of the remainder of the week. It came down pretty good for a short while yesterday afternoon.
