This morningit was overcast and cool. Went out at lunch and was like who turned on the oven....it's very warm and humid. looks like I will have to turn on the AC when I get home. I can handle the warmth but not the humidity.

Oh well at least not all is lost.... at lunch I picked up some over sized crayola coloring books and drawing pads at AC Moore for the kids for Christmas. At 40% off I could not pass them by. The kids will love them.

I didn't realize the movie "You've Got Mail" was based off this movie! That's what the jacket says! (It came in the mail today) I'll let ya know what I think of it whenever I get to watch it...hoping tonight!!! :smile:

I ALMOST had a crisis this afternoon... I FORGOT my coffee when I came back from lunch today! Had to run to the Quick Stop to get one so I can get through the rest of the day! LOL!!! Nuttin better than coffee on a dreary ol day!!! :-D

Morning everone. I am going to try and post from work a little. Hopefully I don't get in trouble! It's amazing to be within two weeks of the 100-day milestone. I am ever so excited. It's breezy and chilly here in Ottawa. lower 60s this morning but it certainly feels less than that. Oh well. Only two more days of work. Enjoy your day, everyone!

just got the news that our pastors son will not be with us much longer. He has been battling a rare form of leukemia for a year and his last treatment was not successful, 90% of his cells are leukemia blasts. All they can do is keep him comfortable. While we know he is going to soon be sitting in the presence of Jesus, we here are going to miss this vibrant outgoing young man. (he just turned 19 a couple of weeks ago)

i really understand. My son was diagnosed with leukemia on December 23, 2007. It has been and will continue a long battle. I definitely pray for peace for this family. When you are in the midst of it, though, it seems so futile and draining. On that note, I also pray for strength.

Good morning everyone!! We've got another chilly, (62º) rainy (drizzly) morning! So odd for July!!

I started to watch The Shop Around The Corner last night, but it was 10:45 when I started & I don't think I saw 10 minutes of it! Lol!! I need to start movies earlier!

I think I'm working through my lunch today & leaving early to go pick up my bro & sil from the airport. They fly in today for my nieces (my Goddaughters) wedding! I have to help in the kitchen tomorrow at the hall...I'm just excited to go out for COFFEE with my sisters in the morning before we help! :smile: So exciting!!!
