Hope everyone had a great night. The wife and I went to a lil hole in the wall pizza place that we LOVE...it's great...went to visit with family...just a nice night relaxing and hanging out....

Good Morning. Sun is out and burning already....and it´s only 10 o´clock am. anyways....we gon go to a Birthday Party of my friend Jessica today.....Her son Tyrese is my daughter´s best friend....He always runs after her and tries to kiss and hug her....sometimes she lets him do it...sometimes she turns away as if she´s saying "no now...I got a headache"....btw....the "couple" is only 3 years-old....

Saturday morning, don't feel like doing anything. Going to be hot and sunny today. There is lots to do with my daughter leaving for college in just 2 weeks, so I guess I had better get into gear.....maybe later.

I am sitting here listening to christmas music and trying not to think about how hot and muggy it is going to be today. I don't plan on doing alot besides sitting back and watching the nascar coverage this afternoon and then running to the grocery store this evening. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I was talking to my sister last night and told her that the one grocery store had a really good sale on powered sugar and that she should get some to put back for her bukeye bars she likes to make at christmas. She told me that I was crazy trying to buy stuff this early and put back. I told her that I might be crazy but I am not the one that has to run to the grocery store on christmas eve like she does every year to finish buying everything for christmas dinner. I told her in fact that I already have everything bought to make the dishes that I am bringing for thanksgiving and christmas dinner at her house and now I am working on stocking up on everything I need to make my cookies and candy. She said that was great but she will worry about it after my nieces birthday on november 17th. Some people just don't like to be organized and prepared in advance I guess.
I agree totally! I start putting things away for Christmas around this time of the year. Looking for sales is a great way to save time and stress during Christmas.cheesy
finally got off my duff and actually ironed a couple of things...don't want to wear my self out so I came back here to see what is going on.

you know...i've never bought food this early for Christmas...but it makes sense! I dunno....as organized as I like to be...I just enjoy the trips to the store with my wife the weekend before Thanksgiving and two weeks before Christmas....something we have done for the past few years...just us.....go eat...go see a movie or shopping....and then go buy groceries....MAN OH MAN I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to work all morning, but we're going out to a big family supper with the inlaws. they are a great group of people, so I'm looking forward to it!
We went the company "Family Day" at the water park yesterday afternoon and had a blast! It's a huge park, and the only people there were company guys and their families... Lots of fun and no waiting to get in the big slides!
