I have to go to hobby lobby at least once a week to see all the christmas stuff. It just makes me happy. Yesterday I bought a santa riding a black bear ornament. They have a woodlands santa that I love and will probally end up buying next time they run him on sale. I could spend alot of money there really easy. Therapy went well for mom. They said that everything is looking good and scheduled her for only twice a week instead of three times a week for the next four weeks.
 
I have already been to the grocery store this morning and now I am babysitting my niece. It is cool out and it feels like fall. If only it would last but it is supposed to be hot again by the middle of the week. This cool weather is getting me excited for fall and now I want to go the apple orchard and the pumpkin patch. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!

Party at my sisters house tomorrow,can't wait to have a few drinks,good food,and fun with my crazy family.kids are excited.they are napping now,lol.Karate wore them out!

it was my grandmother's 90th birthday yesterday and we had a party at her house to celebrate. there was lots of food and wine/beer and all the family were there, it was a lovely day and it reminded me how important family is and that no matter what is going on in the current climate health and family are all that matter.

now, i do admit i was a bit jealous of everyone being able to drink, i was desperate for an ice cold beer but never mind, i should be giving birth in the next couple of weeks and then it's champagne all the way for me!!!!

now is the time i get in real christmas mode, i am starting to get soooo excited and i bet we see this place get even busier over the next few weeks.

That sounds fantastic! That is a special celebration and I am glad everyone enjoyed it. I'm sure the wait for champagne will be well worth it, too!

I never thought about the traffic on the board picking up quite yet. I'm sure you're right. As soon as September hits, there will be more! And so on from here out. The stretch is coming!
 
Man is it hot out there today. It's 90 degrees today! I just got home from my first anatomy class and my head is spinning. He goes so fast that there isn't enough time to take notes. You just have to highlight your book and catch up at home. I have my first quiz next Sat. and I'll have 1 test a week. We made him email us the power point notes that he used in class so that we could use those to study from. Super, super fast! He did let us out early though. We're supposed to have class from 8:30 - 2:00 but, we got out at 11:45. I went to lunch with 2 of my friends from class and then I came home. I'm gonna cut the grass and then get started on my studies for this class. No time to waste this semester!!! Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

A bit overcast here in Raleigh at this hour where we stand at 75 degrees.
This should be the last day for rain until late next week.
(I'll have a chance to mow my father's lawn tomorrow before things start getting lost in it!)

The plan for today is to bake some goodies. I haven't decide what yet but if it is going to be cool out I should fire up the oven and bake. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!
 
Good morning, my Chirstmas Loving Friends! Hope life finds you as happy as me! Sitting here, drinking coffee (or tea if you must), watching some Christmas TV.....man, this is the life....the three best mornings in the world are Christmas Morning, Christmas Eve Morning, and Sunday Morning!

Very cool here today! It's 74 (projected to be 80) and we are still in August! It's nothing for us to be 95 here this time of year! It has been so cool....I just hope it doesn't carry over to the winter or we will have MANY DAYS in the teens! But that would be ok....especially around Cmas!

Anyways....gotta run....see y'all later!
