Frost definitely on the pumpkin here. Kids want a fire in the fireplace but don't have time before Church...will have to wait til we get back...
Went chestnut picking this afternoon which we are going to roast on the fire later - yum! 
It's such a nice day out there today. It's a chilly 53F right now and the sun is shining with no cloud in sight.
I've had such a nice weekend so far. I sat around and watched movies all day yesterday. And in the evening, I had some warmed spiked apple cider. Yum! I'm probably going to have some unspiked cider tonight.
I can't believe how close the season is! Soon enough, I'm going to have to go out and buy a new tree and decorations to go with it. I can't wait!!!
And one of the first places I'm going to do my Christmas shopping is at Hobby Lobby. I think there's one close to me and all this talk of it makes me feel the need to go.

Made it was a blast! we're doing hot dogs on sticks tonight!
We had a Fall scavenger hunt at the park,I made up a list and the kids had to find all their items.they did great and found everything,for thier prizes,we went and got 6 large pumpkins and 9 mini white ones! we'll be painting the lil ones soon.I took a ton of pics and will be posting them...

Made....speechless here....just speechles...which my wife may like...the saying "can't win em all" doesn't apply for us...b/c we can't even win one....

still no internet at home...but I´m at a internet café right now...while Kandice is in pre-school...so I just wanted to holla at all of y´all....
Christmas decorations are being sold in most stores over here in Germany since last week....the christmas goodies started coming in the stores by September 1st....it´s getting cold now...and Kandice and I are listening to Christmas Music in the car....the only thing missing is You people....but soon I will get back into the swing of things with y´all!!!

very frosty and chilly here this morning.
Thanksgiving day here in Canada. Just after lunch I am headed out to my brothers place for a big family get together. He lives about 1 1/2 hour drive from my place, so I am hoping for lots of sunshine so we can enjoy the fall colors on the way.

Good Morning, Friends!.
We are back from the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Nice weather, with rain falling mainly at night.
And while the fall colors were not quite at their peak, it was still nice, with the yellows predominating. Not too much red yet.
Overcast here in Raleigh this morning where the weather service says we have a 90% chance of rain this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow.
(We should have stayed in the mountains!)
Currently, it is 57 degrees here.
And speaking of numbers:
Days to the Season: 32
Days to Christmas Day: 74
One month from tomorrow, Guys! Christmas Season 2009 will be here!
A big "THANKS" to Christmasstar for stepping up over the weekend to run our count. (Nice use of graphics and comments too, my friend!)

Good morning to all! This countdown is really getting me pumped. I can't believe the season will be upon us in a short 32 days!!!! It feels like October is just flying by. I have so much to accomplish in the next few weeks. I'm sure the days will go by pretty fast and before I know it, I'll be on my honeymoon. Then, when I'm back, it'll be less than a week until the official beginning of the season! I can't believe it!

It was a pretty good breakfast if I do say so myself. Scrambled eggs, fresh sausage, bisquits and grits (hey, it's a southern staple!). The sausage is best when you dip it in syrup first. Woohoo!
I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday with my camera to get some shots for the Christmas Blossoms thread...and I forgot they are closed on Sunday. Good for them! I'll just have to go next Saturday.
Hello everyone! Just got a bit bored and I thought that I would check in on here! Hope all the Canadians on here had a great thanksgiving and everyone elce had a great weekend. Starting to see a lot of Christmas cheer here in the U.K. Was in town a few days ago and there was a festive feeling in the air. It was cold, I was wearing my winter coat, scarve and had and there were a few stores selling Christmas things and it just felt very festive.
I can't wait till we jet out to Canada on the 22nd of this month cheesy We are going to Banff, Alberta. The weather at the moment is showing it is going to be about 17 degrees fahrenheit. VERY cold for me and there is also snow
: Oh I am so excited! I may just take some Christmas cards along and write some of them by the window watching the snow fall, just magical!

I am in a great mood today since the COLTS WON last night!!!!!!!! I can't belive that we are only 32 days away from the start of the season. Time is flying by.
