LOL...I hope so....

I was a huge Dale Sr. fan. That was my guy and Mark Martin was/is my Dad's guy. We would watch the races together and hollar and yell....great times...great.....

The day he was in the wreck, I had left my folks house and drove to my house (45 minutes away). After getting there and doing some stuff, my Dad showed up to tell me. I was crushed....but it made me feel good that my Dad drove that far to tell me...Nascar and baseball was the thing that helped us to stay so close during those difficult teen years.....anyways....

TOMORROW IS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!! Gotta make a long road trip tomorrow to a ballgame...it's going to be around 3.5 hours away. Hope to be able to come by before I leave sometime tomorrow, but if not, I will see you guys late tomorrow night or first thing Saturday morning...

I was a huge Dale Sr. fan.

I got to meet him the day he won the brickyard. They always invited the new eagle scouts out to the track to work the press box. I had became a eagle the year before but was still invited since I was out of town the year before during the race. After the post race news conference in the media center was over they brought dale over and introduced him to all of us and he told us that we had done a great job and shook all of our hands. I had watched a few races before then but that day I became a nascar fan and a Dale SR fan. I was crushed the day he died and I wasn't sure if I would keep watching but I had followed junior since he came into the busch series and I rooted for him just as much as senior so I stayed with it and became a loyal junior fan.

-7C with windchill here right now. That's cold! I'm off to Montreal in a matter of minute and thought I would stop in quickly. A teammate is driving, which means I can sleep a little in the car. Have a great Friday and a fantastic weekend! Thanks to everyone who wished me good luck as well.

Morning everyone

Not a lot to say, except its been real cold here lately.

I had to take my daughter to the emergency doctor last night. She vomited a lot, had a rash but turned out it was just a fungal skin infection. Better safe than sorry!

Happy Friday! Its another dreary day here... it is in the low 40's and rain..yuck! I dont mind it being chilly but I dont really care for the rain, especially since this is the 3rd day and its suppose to keep raining and be cold through Monday . Im glad its almost the weekend! I need to go through all of the Christmas presents I have bought so far and decide if I am done shopping for my 2 sons! Other then that.. I have a lot of house cleaning to do and even more cuddle time to make up for with the boys cheesy

Be careful driving up. I don't know which way you come but there is a lot of road construction on I26 coming into Asheville.

We stand at 51 degrees here in Raleigh, barely one degree warmer than yesterday at this hour.
Still overcast with a chance of rain, but it is supposed to be clear this afternoon and on through the weekend into next week.
Nice weather should boost attendance at the State Fair.

Good morning everyone! Man, you all are posting fiends around here!! I wasn't on the computer for one day and I had 600 posts to read through.

I pulled a back muscle on Wednesday night and couldn't move the whole night. It was a little better yesterday, but I stayed in bed and watched tv. It was really hard to just lie there all day, but I'm glad I did, because my back feels much better now. It still hurts if I move certain ways, but it's getting better.

Brent - I guess you're already on your way there, but good luck! I hope the game goes in your favor.

Bradmac - Have fun on your trip to the mountains!!

Mamax2 - I hope your daughter is feeling better!

I won't be here for the countdown for the next few days. I'm going to a weekend long Girl Scout event I'm cooking for. It's supposed to be very cold and possibly snowy. I'm glad I'll be in the warm kitchen most of the time!
