Good morning, everyone! I accepted that job offer. I start Monday. I can't wait to start working again!! Since I'll be working full time, I'm not doing a darn thing today and tomorrow. I'm going to sit around and do crafts and watch Christmas movies all day! I was going to sleep in, but I still ended up waking up at 7:00, as I usually do.

I'm so excited about Thanksgiving this year. I get to have 2 meals, one with hubby's family, and one with mine!

I hope you all have a great day! Smile a little, it'll make a world of difference.
Congratulations!!cheesy

All the lights are up and ready to turn on! It's FINALLY starting to get cold. Tomorrow we are going to start baking and cooking for Turkey Day! I am so glad that I have a 5 day weekend!

still need 800 posts in just over a month....

Jeff, you are missing a really fun part of raising kids and teaching them at the same time. When my kids where young they used to each get their own shopping list (age determined how long it was, but usually they each got 4 or 5 items) They loved the challenge of finding the best deal, marking down prices and then finding me back again to show off their great finds. They all learned how to check out prices and sizes for best deals, calorie counts etc. and had fun doing it. The benefit to me was I did not have to listen to "can I have" because they where busy shopping too.

Oh, no -- we did all that. That wasn't the problem part.

The problem was with the socializing, lack of focus, the singing and dancing in the aisles, the spontaneous football game that broke out with a pineapple (don't ask), the near-disaster we had with bowling with frozen turkeys and FULL 2 liter bottles of soda and, of course, the near riot that broke out from them all yelling "shot gun!" in trying to get the front seat as we went from store to store.

Actually, we had a lot of fun.

But I came home at midnight EXHAUSTED.

Evening All...
Is everyone getting ready for Turkey Day? I plan to bake a couple pies tomorrow evening, work on making my stuffing/dressing and prep a few other things so I won't have much to do on Thursday besides set the table and cook the turkey. I don't plan to hit black Friday this year...don't wanna deal with the crowds. May browse online to see if I can get any good deals...if not I'd like to hit the stores on Saturday. Hope everyone had a good day! ~Take Care~

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here, but I'm looking forward to the American football that's on tomorrow!

Mid week already!

I cannot believe how fast the days are whipping past. cheesy

speaking of time flying,,,,I have to go to work!
Have a great day everyone!!!

Good morning my dear friends.....hope this finds you as happy as me!

Been up since 5:30....cooked the wife a nice little breakfast before she left for work....hate that she had to go but she will be home shortly after lunch....

While I wait....I've got to plug up all the lights in the house and outside of the house....she loves to come home and see the lights on, but usually when she gets home it's dark....won't have the same effect but it's the thought that counts....

Today's cook list....chili (for supper), sausage balls, homemade mac and cheese, baked beans....AND OOOEY GOOEY BUTTER CAKE!!! Lots to do! Have a great day...will be in and out!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is the last day of the week for work. We are grilling steaks for all the guys in the plant (about 70) at lunch, and then I think we're closing a little early.

I was hoping to go out of town this weekend, but it looks like I'll be home instead. Oh well, at least I can get a good jump on the Christmas decorations!

Have a great day, everyone! cheesy

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY # 13

Good Morning, Friends!
The morning before T-Day.......
Days to Christmas Day: 30 (One month from today!!)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 1 (Um - that's TOMORROW, Folks.)

Wow!
Thanksgiving Eve!
It came so soon, as did our Christmas Season.
Can Christmas Day be far behind?
(I think you know the answer to that important question.)

Cloudy here this morning where we stand at 54 degrees.
It LOOKS like it might rain but the weather service says no, so of course we all know it can't rain, don't we. (Yeah, right!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone.
Last chance to meet Holiday and me at the Shispering Pines before the big day.
Hey! Carl has whipped up some delicious Thanksgiving Eve treats for everyone to enjoy as we take in the nearby view to Thanksgiving/the Weekend.
Hope to see everyone there!

Good morning everyone!

I can't believe Thanksgiving Day is tomorrow. November has flown by. Christmas will be here before we know it. I hope you all have a great day.

Mornin' everyone! We're starting our cooking and baking today. I'm going over to my grandparent's house to fix their computers and start to cook. I cant wait for tomorrow the parade and a big meal...what can be better?!

Have a great day and in case I don't talk to ya, Happy Thanksgiving!

Woohooooo! The local radio station started playing Christmas music 24/7 this morning through midnight Christmas Day----it's officially Christmas time for me now! I just talked to Mom to finalize Thanksgiving Dinner plans: we're having soup & sandwiches this year, easier on Mom's bad knees than slaving over the stove. I like comfort foods like chili & soup anyway! I work until noon today and then it's off to the house to start cleaning so I can get out the Christmas decor. I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving. If you are on the roads, be careful. In a 15-20 mile stretch, my mom has seen five state troopers pulling over people...

Goodmorning To All.

A chance of snow here tomorrow (yes !).
Song for today: Singers Unlimited - Coventry Carol.

Mrs.Eagle is out picking up a few things from the store, and I'm making chex mix ( I hate the pre-made stuff).

I 've got to do some cleaning, so I'll say so long for now.

Later my friends.

Hi guys! Just checking...two down.....making progress....gotta hurry and get outside though! See yall later!
