Right you are, Holiday. But you can drop the "almost".
That's right, Folks. We have arrived at the ONE QUARTER CHRISTMAS DAY MILESTONE!
Days to the Season: 232
Days to Christmas Day:274
(Now that makes for a Thrilling Thursday, doesn't it?)

Darkish and dreary outside here in Raleigh at this hour where our temp stands at 48.
The weather service says we are in for 3 straight days of rain.

Regardless, have a Fantastic Friday Eve, Everyone!
(Our next milestone? Just consult your local marker chart. There's one near you!)

I hear ya! I feel the same way every year. If only it could go slow so that I could enjoy it longer, that would be nice. That's why I always take off for so long during Christmas so that I can spend some time with my decorated house and enjoy it. When I'm working I can't enjoy it as much.

I'm planning my Christmas party that I do every year here at work. Last year we included more people and it all turned out very nice. Everyone had a good time, the food was great and we all got along. There were a few party poopers that didn't participate but, you'll have that. So, this year my thought was to include them again and I was going to buy some little gifts to wrap up and place under the tree so that everyone has something to open. I was thinking of getting some inexpensive Christmas CD's and some candles, candy, etc. I was going to bring in a little tree and place all of them under there and then pull names and they could just pick a gift to open. That way everybody gets something. I also was going to give away poinsettias that I'll use to decorate the tables with. I'm getting excited just thinking about all of this! How fun!!!!cheesy Happy Friday everyone.

Happy Friday everyone! I'm expecting a Fitz and Floyd Christmas tea pitcher to be delivered today(super-discounted lol). Bright spot on this dreary-rainy morning:)

Happy Friday Y all. I hope Y´all are doing fine and are ready for the weekend....I sure am. Kandice and I are doing much, much better healthwise....everything else is fine, too....and since we are Christmas nuts...I thought it would be cool to say that we are sitting there watching Rudolph again....:D now how cool is that? I love it....Head Elf is just scolding Hermie for wanting to be a dentist....unfortunately...I only have it in Germany......Bumbles is just called the Schneeungeheuer, Hermie is called Herman...and Santa Clause is called Nikolaus, even tho it would be less irritiating for the German kids to call him either Santa Clause (every German kid knows the name...and since it´s an American movie it makes sense...) or at least Weihnachtsmann........Clarice is called Clara and Mrs. Claus is Frau Nikolaus...Mrs Nikolaus...I just prefer the US names....I´ll be trying to get in English on Amazon...would be good for Kandice, too....she would know all the German words by then, and it will be easy for her to understand the English better, too....we are raising her bilingual...but of course she´s better in German than English...since Jones, my fiance is the only speaking to her in English.....so most of the cartoons we watch are watched in English...so it would be great to have that one, too.

hui....that was a long message, wasn´t it?

btw...I had three cups of coffee this morning...feel a bit hyped...so sitting there and watching Rudolph helps me to calm down a bit...:D

I swear just the other day we were all at Christmas.com andit was like 1999.....
Ah! Those happy days of our youth back in the previous century.
Old fashioned mattresses, cheap coffee (with no inspired operas) Jay hadn't learned to dance yet, Maureen had yet to discover plaid, the Shispering Pines had not been built, Fired Twinkies had not been developed......
Gee! The dark ages!

Good Morning, Friends!

Let's check on the count now that we have left the 1/4 Christmas Day mark behind:
Days to the Season: 231
Days to Christmas Day:273
And on we move to the next Milestone.
What is it you ask?
Too busy to check the handy-dandy chart on page 1?
OK, then I'll tell you - it's the 1/3 Christmas Day marker, April 26 - just 30 days off. Then the DAY AFTER THAT, the 200-Day Season Milestone.
Good Golly, Folks!

Sure enough, the promised rain arrived yesterday and it continues to threaten this morning and is supposed to be with us Saturday as well.
We currently stand at 60 under overcast skies.

Well, have a Fabulous Friday, Everyone!
And I hope your weekend launches beautifully this afternoon.

Hello, Friends! Have a great Friday and upcoming weekend!!

Happy Friday and a great weekend to all. I have much to do to prepare for my upcoming surgery on Thursday, so it might be a little bit until I am on the site again. But then, again, I must have my Christmas fix!!!
