Well the weekend is here! Whew! What a busy week I had. Good News though, the new employee I trained last week who shares my new office with me noticed the welcome note to her on our office write board and also saw in the corner my countdown to Christmas and said, "we're going to get along just fine".
Hear that! She likes Christmas. I don't think she's a wacko like the rest of us, but she's off to a good start and has a Christmas lovin' guru to support her.

cheesy The Spring weather has arrived. The Canada Geese are back, but so far no sign of robins in my neighbourhood. Soon I hope.
The earth stinks worse this year than it did last year. I don't mean the planet, I'm referring to the rotten smell emitting from the ground after being frozen for five months. Pew! :-? Got my Spring though.

Time's sure a-fly'in!
Speaking of time, how much is there to our next Milestone?
Well, let's check:
Days to the Season: 230
Days to Christmas Day:272
Our handy-dandy Milestone chart reveals that our next marker, the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone, will be April 26 - barely over 4 weeks away.
And uniquely, the next one, the 200-Day Season Milestone, falls on the following day! We will be giddy with celebration that week!
Not quite as somber outside this morning as compared to yesterday, but rain is still in the forecast. Tomorrow should be dry and sunny, however.
We currently stand at a pleasant 63.

chicago is looking at about a half foot of snow today - probably our last snow of the season! spring snow!
it's cold, windy, snowy... but it reminds me that christmas is only 9 months away!

Good Morning Friends...I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. Little one is at my sisters for the weekend so I actually got to sleep in. Kinda nice because this is something I rarely do. It was only until 9am but sure beats getting up at 5 or 7 am...*L* I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Parts of NC saw some tornadoes yesterday. We're suppose to get another round of storms late this afternoon. Right now it's calm with a little bit of sunshine. I love the Christmas tea pitcher I received yesterday. Gorgeous! Slowly getting closer to Christmas!
