Christmas Countdown - 2009

a bit cloudy over here...but I am hoping for some sunshine in the afternoon....the city is open today, since it´s Open Sunday today...a lot of stuff will be done in the city....

before that...at 10am we will go to church....my grandparents have the anniversary of their lutheran confirmation today....it was 65 years ago...it´s crazy to me...sounds so long ago....they will also have the 60-year wedding anniversary this year and my grandpops turns 80, too....big year and I hope and pray that I will have them for some years...I love them so dearly and they have always been my light...along with my mom...always been there, always showed how to love and show affection and be good people......

Good morning.
I went shopping yesterday with my bff and I bought my grand-daughters some books at Borders. They are put away.
(Perhaps for that CHRISTMAS IN JULY that I plan to have.)
270 days until Christmas. Where have the days gone????
It is rainy and dreary today.
I haven't heard from the doc yet on my MRI results. I called them Friday and they said they'd call back, but alas....no call.
I was at the mall for three hours yesterday, and my knee gave out on me a couple times. I am pretty frustrated about it all.
I totally committed myself back to my Weight Watchers program and have had two good weeks, so far. Had a 4 lb loss. I need to lose 13 lbs more. I might go for 20, but we'll see.:hello:

Speaking of storms brings up the fact that after 3 straight days of rain here, it is sunny at last this morning with our temp at a very pleasant 65.
No more of the wet stuff is predicted for the next several days.

The rain has finally stopped! Atleast for the moment. I don't know if it's supposed to rain again or not. I woke up early this morning to thunder and some wicked lightening. Then around 9:30 the power went off! Right in the middle of my Sims 2 game! I hate when that happens. I can't stand to be without power, it drives me crazy.

My brother called me this morning and insisted that I take this cat off of his hands but, I just can't take it at this time. He's having a fit about it. I think that he should take care of it until he can find it a home and then he can see why people are so reluctant to add a pet to their home that they are not prepared for. It's a lot of work and he's not home that much. He wants me to switch up my life to make it work but, he doesn't want to do it himself. I told him I wouldn't take it at this time and he hung up on me. Oh well. He'll get over it!!!

While the power was off I decided to put all of my snowmen away. So I now have officially put all of my Christmas stuff away! I figured that I should decorate for Easter so I put some of that stuff out and got some dusting done while I had electricity. Atleast I got something done. I had to do something or else I would have gone banana's!

I hope you get your results soon. I know it's torture waiting for the doctor's office to get back to you. Knee problems are no fun. Good luck with the weight watchers, sounds like you're off to a good start.

what´s up fellas? been a busy day today....and the worst of it all...we lost an hour of sleep because last night the clocks were put forward in Germany and other countries....I love it in October....You get to sleep a lil longer....but in March...I really, really hate it...throws my day off for two or three days...but it´s so nice....now it´s half past 7pm....and it´s still not dark...not depressing no more....very cool

watching Bruce Allmighty right now...it´s still funny...even tho I´ve seen it quite often...it´s just funny.....Kandice took a bath and will go to bed in about 15minutes...I think I will go to sleep then as well....I´m so tired.

Tomorrow it´s Monday again....only two weeks til Easter...and that makes me so happy...my fave holiday after Christmas...but I mentioned that a few pages ago. Hope Y´all had a nice weekend!
