Thanks for the kind words of sympathy, guys.
It's sad to watch the older generation slip away. I have my father, one uncle and one aunt left. Once they are gone, I'll be the oldest member of my family. Scary. Seems like just a short time ago I was a kid with not only my parents and all my Aunts and Uncles, but 12 Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles and a Great Grandmother as well.
Time moves so fast.

And speaking of the movement of time, our count:
Days to the Season: 210
Days to Christmas Day:252
Single Digits now to the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone.
Then tomorrow, single digits to the 200-Day Season Mark.
Wow! Just Wow!

Hope everybody had a great day today! Weather was right around 80 and we got to have a good practice outside today. Our district tourney starts tomorrow! Supposed to rain. Hopefully it won't! Looking forward to getting out and doing yard work! See y'all tomorrow!

Yesterday I was at the ballet studio all day and into the evening...the yearly ballet exams are here yet again, and we always help the students look their best by doing their hair and making sure they have skirts and all the other niceties...plus, some candidates need their teacher to go into the exam session with them, depending on age and category of exam...so I was a busy lady yesterday! Today I get a day off; will attend my father in law's birthday party this afternoon, then tomorrow I'm back at the studio for another full day of exams!
