Naw, I don't make a big deal of the game. Folks at work all make bets, they do that "squares" kinda deal where everyone picks a square and puts in their 25.00. Then they write the teams and the numbers and let you know what your score is...blah blah.....I didn't get involved this year.
I have to say, I'm getting tired of the snow. When is it going to stop?
We are supposed to get more Tues, Wed, and Thurs.
Monday and Tuesday my work day involves OSHA training. It's a 30 hour course broken up over 4 days.
I made a cake this morning called Better Than Sex Cake. It's my first time trying it. It's only 4pts per serving. I also plan to make Roast Sticky Chicken. My son and his wife and kids will be coming over for dinner.
Other than that, not much going on in my neck of the woods.

Super Bowl Sunday!! I hope to be able to watch some of it but, since I work midnight shift I usually sleep in the evening hours before work so I don't know if I'll catch it or not. I'll tivo it though so that I can watch it the next morning! Of course by then I'll know who won but, I like to see it for myself! Go Steelers!!!

The first day of a new month.
That's one small step for us - one giant leap toward the Season!
When is the 1/4 Season Milestone? Why only 11 days off. And that's nearly down to SINGLE DIGITS! Can we really be that close to a quarter of the way back to our glorious Season?? (The Milestone Marker chart, our Rosetta Stone, doesn't lie!)
Have a Super Sunday (in more ways than one today!) and rest up to begin moving another week closer to.....well.....you know.

hope everyone is alright....had some guests over for coffee and some cake....kids were playing....was a nice afternoon....now we are watching Flashdance ... for the second time today.....that 80s threads really got into me.........

Hey Track, Flashdance was filmed here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! I thought about that 80's thread too and it's made me want to time travel!
I honestly love that movie....how hard she works.....the spirit in her herself she never really loses.....the pictures of Pittsburgh....even tho it´s surely not the most beautifull city in the work...it fits the movie and hits the feeling on the nail......just watching the first seconds when Alex is riding her bike to work....I love it

When I find the person who gave me this cold, I'm going to cough all over them. I'm tired of the throat concusions I've been experiencing. That's what I call it when you cough so hard that the back of your throat slams into the front. Ouch!
Not gonna let it steel my Christmas Thunder though! Oh no, not me.
Speaking of steel - go Steelers. Not that I've been seriously routing for any teams this year, but I thought I'd toss my vote in. :hello:

We have finally had a few days of warm weather. I just to clear most of the snow and ice off of our deck! Some of the snow has melted but more is to come! Always more snow to come! It is so much warmer now, not in the single digits anymore as of right now... so I dont have to run the fire full blast today!

Good morning, Friends! The Steelers won - YIPPEEEE!! Didn't do the big party this year so I'm good to go this afternoon. Hope everyone is doing well! Cloudy here, but the sun was out earlier so supposedly there is still six weeks to winter - getting kind of used to the snow and the cold so that news is all right by me. Take care, everyone!!
